I don't know how talented the Charers are. We have one real go to receiver and he is a TE. We have no true number 1 receiver. We have an unproved injury prone RB. We have a injury prone LT and undrafte d rookie backup(although he did a good job last night)

I am not shocked they are this inconsistent. I hoped it wouldn't have been an issue.

Things are even getting better in Philly! My dreams are coming true! 3 more heads to roll and we are off to hopefully a better start next year.

Former Eagles president Joe Banner will be named CEO/president of the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday and current president Mike Holmgren will depart the organization within 24 hours

Holmgren was an utter failure with the Browns.

but at the end of the day, a win is a win.

It sure is!

I love how Manning is a god now since he came back from 24 points.

The Chargers did more to lose that game then Manning did to win that game.

They said we played like "dogs" and I have to agree. It was just unreal watching the events unfold...

Man, the Dolts got Donkey Punched last night.:rotfl

You're damn right they did!

Its odd...at no point last night did I think Denver was out of that game. When they got it to 24-14, I think most of us knew what the outcome would be LOL. I just can't figure out the Chargers, with all that talent.

After Denver snagged the ball from Rivers and ran it in for the TD I KNEW we were in trouble. Even though we were still up 10 points I could see the change in both teams. Denver was playing with talent and SD was already falling apart. I was literally begging my team to do what was necessary to just "hold" the lead, but I knew that we were self-destructing.

I think last night is easy to call though.

All fingers should be pointing to Rivers.

Don't let Norv off so easy. Both Rivers and Norv, hell the WHOLE team need to take responsibility for what they allowed to happen in front of their loving fans. If I were Norv or Rivers, I would have apologized to the fans who paid good money just to watch their team disgrace themselves in front of the entire league.

They remind me of the Indians of the 90s. Great regular seasons and couldn't close the deal in the playoffs.

Yep. The last game I went to was our playoff game against the Jets a few years back. SO disappointing. I went with my good ol Dad, who used to take me as a kid, and it was supposed to be a cherishing moment to enjoy with my father like we use to do so long ago.

And while being there with my old man was special in and of itself, watching the team I grew up with "choke" and blow the game was DEVASTATING to experience.

I'm looking at you Norv Turner (and I'm a Chargers' fan).

:lecture

You know,........

....... I LOVE my team. Same as all of you guys love yours. And I will always be there for them, win or lose. But I am deeply embarrassed to be a San Diego Chargers fan right now... :(

I know I'm being dramatic, I mean we're still tied for the top of the AFC West and all, but last night SD really broke my heart...

You got that right. I'd like to see a team with both Norv and Wade as the OC and DC together, respectively.

Imagine if S.D. fires Norv and then the Texans hire him to be there offensive coordinator. He would probably take a good QB like Schaub and turn him into a stud with his kind of offense, and the Texans are built for it too.

Man what happened to the Vikings? A few years ago they were partying on boats with hot women. Now they are posing for mens gay magazines?

Weird..........:lol

It's more politically correct to party that way then with women it seems...every TV show seems like that is the case too...LOL

Yeah, I feel ya there. My team will no doubt go through the crapper next year, thanks to that collossal idiot Bill Belichick. :monkey4

We'll lose Moss, Asante Samuel and will probably have a stand in coach for most of the season. So it would take a freakin miracle for the Patriots to do anything this coming season.

Only good thing is, I might not have to see those dumbass sleeveless sweaters on the sideline much this year.

****** Belichick! :moon

It still kills me how this team didnt become the greatest football team dynasty of all...they had it going all around, they easily could have been a 7-8 superbowl win team...I still cant believe that the Wildcard team Giants beat them twice...and I'm a Giants fan

The thought that any team could "easily" win any Superbowl let alone "7-8" is retarded.

:lolI'm pretty homerish and I only say they should have 5-6 right now. Obviously there's the 2 they lost to the Giants and then there's 2006 where they blew the lead against the Colts.

The window is closing on Brady. I just want to see one more and then the Pats can settle back into the parity of the NFL.
