According to your logic NBC will stick with the Jets/Chargers game on Sunday, Dec. 23 because it's at New York. :lol

Difference is tonight's game has tow big markets who will still watch when their team sucks, not sure you can say that about Jets, and I know you can't say that about SD.

Damn, what is it with the Rams when they play in the division versus out of the division? They always go Super-Saiyon. No matter what the records are or which team is more talented, San Francisco/St Louis games are always intense and dramatic. I still thought San Francisco had it, but they shot themselves in the foot with that stupid option playcall on their own 10 yard line (running a play they hardly ever run with a receiver they never run it with leading by 8 points outside of their endzone smh), Delanie Walker dropping that perfectly thrown touchdown pass, and Akers once again missing the GW kicks that he was so money with last season.

Seems like the 49ers always look really impressive for 2 weeks then come out like the 2010 Mike Singletary version. I can't explain it, but they suck every 3rd game. It's odd. Don't know what to chalk that up too.

Shush, 49ers fans still have nightmares about that time period....

That clown is on the Vikings staff now. :rotfl

You know, I actually don't dislike Sing. He just should not have been calling plays. I'll even go a step-further, he probably shouldn't have been a head coach (groundbreaking I know). But he helped shape one of the best LB corps in the league and turned Vernon Davis into a mature leader. Not an X's and O's guy, he was awful there. But I thought he had the right idea with giving this team an attitude and identity.

:dunno

Well, the 49ers suddenly will have to fight for the division with a game remaining @ Seattle. They also have an interesting matchup at New England. Time to get the details ironed out, especially with the offensive line.

I have said it many times we have much better things to do then watch a bad football team.

Just finished the Pittsburgh/Baltimore game on dvr. What a gut-check win for the Steelers on the road with Batch as the QB to remain in the playoff hunt. I'm happy for the veteran Batch even though he plays for the Steelers. :horror

Loved his reaction after the win. Probably meaningless for the team in the long run, but nice comeback for him.

Eagles fired another coach (Washburn their D line coach). This is making me slightly nervous. No mention of Reid going away. It would not suprise me to see them fire every coach except Andy. Although I really think his time is done. It has to be.

The bright spots for Eagles fans have to the play of the rookie QB and running back. Both Foles and Brown looked good and show signs of being real weapons. That said, Brown needs to go to wherever Tiki went to learn how to hold onto the damn football. I don't care how good he is, if he keeps dropping the ball he won't play.

Nick Foles is now the starting QB of the Eagles (for now). It will be interesting to see what they do in the off season.

If they're smart, the eagles will dump vick

Oh he is done. They aren't going to pay him that crazy contract.

I think Washburn ruined the Eagles on defense. That whole wide 9 crap was garbage. I also think they were destroyed the minute they went down 4 offensive lineman at the beginning of the season. The final nail has and always will be Reids play calling. What a horrible year to be an Eagles fan. Of Philly sports fan period. :slap
