Wrong. Didn't the Pats go 11-5 with Matt Cassel? Like it or not Bill Belichick is one of the greatest NFL coaches. They can make players that would otherwise be **** on other teams, great. Look at players like Welker or even Woodhead, theres not many other teams (if any) that can have a star 5'9 receiver.:lol

Panthers have the best. :lecture:lecture

That's irrelevant because barring injury, Brady and Belichick will probably ride off in the sunset together.

Conference Championship picks (1-3 Divisional Round 3-5 overall)

My SB pick from way back in September is still in play.:horror

Super Bowl XLVII

49ers over Ravens

Ravens at Patriots - Of course I have to go against my original pick. These 2 probably play another close game with the Pats pulling it out 30-27.

49ers at Falcons - Tough one to pick. I wasn't a believer in the Falcons going into last week and still don't have big confidence now, but I'll pick them. With how my picks have gone this probably assures a 49er win.:lol

Nope not really. The team had other good players around him that helped make it easeir to deal with MC. Look at his track record without Brady at QB.

Conference Championship Picks
(3-1 WC round, 1-3 Divisional round, 4-4 overall)

Baltimore at New England - Baltimore's front 7 will put the heat on Tom Terrific all game. And without two of his weapons (Gronk/Woodhead), it's going to be a long day for the Pats. Besides, Flacco doesn't want to die if he can't get Ray Ray to the Super Bowl one last time.:lol

San Francisco at Atlanta - Atlanta made Zach Miller look elite last week...imagine what Vernon Davis will be able to do. And Harbaugh will not ice himself and gift a win to the Dirty Birds.

Man I hope you're right.

I would just pick the ones I wanted to lose most, but choosing between the Falcons and 49ers is impossible from that POV. I hope they both forfeit and hand over the championship to whoever wins the AFC game.

Still bitter over all those beatings when the Saints were part of the NFC West. :nana::nana::lol

I gotta admit, that's a very vivid memory as a kid. All I remember was Jerry Rice getting the long ball while the Saints D were falling all over themselves. I guess I should be happy that the new Saints are following that legacy. But I actually really liked the Niners when they had Jeff Garcia years back. I just can't stand their coach right now. Falcons I can't support because they are really the Saints' primary division rivals.

Not really? How do you not really go 11-5?:lol You mean good players like Welker?:slap Any Coach who has had FIVE Superbowl appearences is awesome, end of discussion.

I undertand. When things went south for SF for a while it was shocking after years of running over that division. I'm glad the Saints are doing good now. I really think Bree's is a classy guy and they have a MU guy so that's not bad either. If JH didn't coach for the Niners I could see him annoying me but he's my guy and I love him for turning them around.

He's an amazing coach. I can't remember the last time someone was able to succeed at the level he has, considering he turned Stanford around, came to the NFL and then turned the Niners around. If he were in NO I would probably feel the same way. I do hope the Saints can get their **** together before Brees gets too old and they have to *gulp* rebuild.

I didn't say anything about not really going 11-5. I was saying not really to the "wrong" comment. The Hoodie is a nice coach. I wouldn't call him great myself but I'm not a fan of the Pats.

I like NO myself. I hope they turn things around before having to rebuild.

Belichick was outstanding way before he was even at NE. He was a Defensive coordinator (2 superbowl wins with NY) for one of the best ranked NFL Defenses of all time. How is that not great?
