11 is a good streak, but you could win all 82 and wont mean ____ unless you win the cup.

Sens won 10 in a row. Two teams we beat in our last meetings in the playoffs are on huge win streaks. Another thing the Caps and Sens have in common. They have suffered at the hands of the Pens!

But still, great streaks! :rock

Off topic but, i was watching Women's Scotties Tournament of Hearts curling today, quite a few hot chicks, especially on the P.E.I and Newfoundland team.Watching them bend over in black tights was quite the treat, i think i may take a crack at this sport.

Very off topic, but posts talking about hot chicks and where you can find them is always welcome! :lecture

Well now, not VERY..its chicks on a ice surface chunking stones without skates on. :p

Kovalchuk to the Devils for Begfors, Oduya, Cormier and a first rounder, way to much, I guess Wadell didnt want to get hosed like he did with Hossa

Don Waddell didn't get hosed this time. He didn't want a repeat of the Pens situation. We only ended up losing a bottom six guy, a guy now who has been seeing bouts with his big league team, and also the minors. A bluechipper that now has become a bust. Funny that at the time the hockey world felt the Pens overpaid, they gave up nothing, got their Cup, and beat the player that stiffed them in the process. Beautiful karma! Freed up player salary in dumping Armstrong and Christensen, so looking back on it now, it was a great trade, regardless if the Pens didn't maintain Hossa's services.

Having said all of that, yes, this is a huge overpayment for the Devils. And they will get fleeced if Koval doesn't resign with them because they give up a potential top liner in Bergfors who is amongst the top rookies in scoring, with 70+ point potential, a prospect who could turn into a top six guy, in Cormier (although a tool), a top six dman in Oduya, and a 1st round draft pick, which could be anything. Way to go Waddell, you made good.

Also, Kovalchuk is a piece of ____! I don't want to leave Atlanta, I hope I stay, yet he forced his team to trade him when he asked for 20 percent of his team's cap, the league's highest you're allowed to pay a player, which would have paid him out 11.3 million US per season. 2 milion more than Ovechkin, the highest paid NHLer right now.

There is no way that Atlanta could afford that, and he knew it. What a weasel, and to lie to the public and media like that. What a lying greedy goof.

Rumors also have the NHL's Atlanta Thrashers coming to Winnipeg, which I find is good paper fodder, and only that. There is no way Peg city could afford a team. We have people here with deep enough pockets, but nobody stupid enough who wants to lose money. I come from the cheapest city in North America, so I know that won't happen.

Also, now that Kovy is gone, this is one of those teams that is a barely make it playoff team. Why do I want to pay a 100 dollars a game to see a fringe hockey team? Screw that!

GO MANITOBA MOOSE GO!

btw We just got top Rookie point-per-game getter, and top six Ducks forward, Dan Sexton (coming down due to a numbers game, the Ducks just got Jason Blake), we also got blueliner Nick Boynton, one season removed from 20+ points in the NHL, who will add grit to our roster, and some toughness. Jannik Hansen, a point-per-game guy at the AHL level, has been reassigned to the Moose for a conditioning stint, will also help our struggling offence and PP along with Sexton, Boynton, and newly acquired former NHL All-Star and Stanley Cup Champ, Mathieu Schneider. We also will get Cody Hodgson at the end of the regular season, because he's back from his back injury, and recorded 2 points and got a 1st star in his first game back with the OHL's Brampton Battalion. He's a top-end prospect, so don't get too excited Badmoon, things are looking a awful lot brighter for the Moose! :rock

That's what I'd be saying today if I had re-upped my season tix. Thankfully the Bruins made the choice for me upping the price per game from $25 to $50, not to mention the cost of driving from Maine for possibly 41 games & playoffs. Sadly most B's fans are too damn loyal, and will continue to feed the Jacobs family money for a mediocre product.

BTW, anyone here want Dennis Wideman on their team? I figure a bag of pucks is all it would take. Also, I'd expect Mark Recchi to be available so he can have one last run.

Way to blow the game Gust"sive"sson!!, why oh why! not start your hot goalie?..lame.

13 in a row for the Caps. I am sure they will lose to the Pens on NBC Sunday. Uncle Gary won't want Cindy shown up on national TV so the fix will be in.

I can see the Caps choking in the playoffs, first round exit.

Pens have a back to back, so you should be ok, and Ovi always bring his A game against the Pens. Did you see his goal tonight? This is guy is insane.

As much as I cant stand Burke and the Lafs, no man or woman for that matter should ever endure the pain of saying good bye to a child, I hope the TO media lays off this guy for awhile. RIP BB
