Whatever sunshine, they won. Why such a cranky puss? Seriously man, the team is good. Howard was unreal. Look at the chances they had, even the shot clock shows how much the Pens dominated the Wings. Getting sick of how you always make excuses for why the Pens don't deserve this or that.

Heck, I can even say nice things about your Caps. And trust me I am not a fan, although I don't hate the team.

What I said had zero to do with the Pens. It had to do with the gay shootout. I hate it. A skills comp does not decide a "winner" IMO.

Not IMO. I can respect that some people like it, but I am more of a hockey purist. I don't like the point for an OT loss. I don't like the shootouts or any of that stuff.

The day the shootout makes it to the playoffs is the day I stop watching.

I agree, but I would say, that an individual game should not come from a team game. The old NHL ended with a tie after 65 minutes of tied hockey. The board of Governors not Bettman, wanted to attract more fans in the States by giving a definitive winner, like in basketball, baseball, and football. Problem is, hockey is not those sports. It's better.

And lets attack the owners here, not Bettman. The aggression is directed at the wrong person here, it is the owners that pad Bettman's pockets.

Also, there is no point constantly _____ing about something you have no control over. Except it and move on, I don't think we need to be reminded everytime a team wins or loses by a shootout, how lame it is. What has been done, is done. Whining about it constantly will not do you or us any good.

I have to admit that it can be exciting, when our respective team wins. But sucks when the other team plays worse in those 65 minutes playing as a team, but wins because of some individual's efforts. Point is, it's what we have now, so we have to except it or just don't watch a level of hockey that uses shootouts to decide the end result of a game after 65 minutes of tied hockey.

I have learned to live with it. Am I crazy about the shootout as a end result to tied games? No, but there is nothing I can do about it, and as a hockey fan, I choose not to screw myself out of enjoying the best leagues in the world that use the shootout because it's such a small aspect of the game. Anyway, next subject!

I don't know though, if the game is tied..then, i guess that means the team that got out played a) hardly generated offence or b) goalie kept them in it.But, its a tie..both teams did something to last through 65mins..even if the other one was not the better team, all that really matters most is the final.I think if you were the better deserving team to win, then you should have done that in 60 or the plus five in OT.

Obviously you accept it (and yes I saw the mistake), but don't tell me that Bettman loves fans like me, because I don't put money towards NHL product anymore. I am strictly an AHL and juniors fan. I only watch the odd NHL game on TV. You watch NHL games and pay attention to the league and your team, so don't be a hypocrite and contradict yourself.

So laugh because I used the wrong word by accident and enjoy it for what its worth. haha I used expect instead of accept. Hardy har har! Dude, you're more of a Bettman brat than me. I don't want the NHL back in Winnipeg. I have made that clear already.

I think the NHL and Bettman are a joke. Hockey rules, but this league is a piece of ____. I just said it's pointless to complain about something you have no power over, and not to mention we're all getting sick of the repetitive whining. But you won't catch me paying big money for an NHL game.

Crosby will score 50 goals this year. I said that 20 goals into the season. So many Crosby bashers said it would never happen. Oh it will. 60 may not be even out of the question.

I actually believe the Caps had one amazing season pre-Ovechkin days, like some 15 years ago if memory serves me correct. Heck, it may have been even before Stevens was a Devil.
