You should probably change the channel. Remove it like a bandaid.

In all fairness I don't see anyone stopping Tampa. They built up their momentum and haven't slowed down.

Roloson is one of my favorite goalies, Thomas being one of the others (I love the non-"cookie cutter butterfly" goalies).

As we've seen, when Roloson is on his game he's ridiculous. But if and when he gets rattled by either a bad goal or a couple of quick ones, he can get WAY off his game.

But next round is going to be a hell of a goalie matchup.

Saw this on ESPN, Dayum!

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The NHL has exercised its option to take $25 million from the city of Glendale to cover losses by the Phoenix Coyotes this season.

The city had placed the money in escrow a year ago at the NHL's insistence to cover such losses if the sale of the team had not gone through by the end of this season.

The city says the NHL took the funds on Monday.

The NHL bought the team out of bankruptcy in September 2009 with the intention of finding a buyer to keep the team in Arizona.

The proposed sale to Chicago businessman Matthew Hulsizer has been stalled by the threat of a lawsuit by the Goldwater Institute, a conservative watchdog group.

I'll admit I'm shocked at how far Tampa has come in the playoffs. Never thought they had it in them to sweep, especially a first seeded team. But then again... the Caps seemed to prove that being seeded at 1 was all for show, because they certainly didn't play like they deserved it.

I hope they lose some of their momentum though, for the sake of wanting my team to win the Cup. But they do seem like the cinderella story at this point in time.
oh please. the Caps are way overrated. Tampa has been playing hard all year. they lacked decent goal tending so they got what they needed at the trade deadline: a vetern goaltender. i've watched them all season and their success hasn't surprised me at all.

Look at their team, they really don't lack in any area. But they did nearly fall to a Penguins team minus Crosby and Malkin. Just sayin'.

But I always liked TB.. not a fan, but I always liked the players. Lecavalier, Gagne, Malone (ex-Pen), St. Louis, Stamkos, and Hedman... like all those guys. Not a Downie fan. Oh, and you have to be pulling for Rollie the goalie... he's ancient yet he's still playing some amazing hockey.

i still like Roli from his time with the Wild. he's a good guy, but he does get flustered easily and then he gets sloppy. earlier in the season a guy ran into him and knocked him over. so he held him over his knee and repeated smacked him on the back of the head with his glove hand. looked like he was giving a child a spanking.:lol

vancouver wins!!!! In your face!!!

Good game from the 'Nucks tonight. Kess. and the 'Pekker have been the stand outs in the series thus far.

...still waiting on the Sedins

I admire how much love the fans have for their team in Nashville, really nice to see/hear.

Come on Vancouver, play like _____ and lose then lose then lose again.

Kessler is definitely a stand out in these playoffs, he's playing spectacularly... is that a word? :dunno As for Rinne, he deserves to be named MVP of the playoffs with how he's playing. Practically a brick wall he is. I love Vancouver, my number one team all the way, but I seriously find all their goals in this series against Nashville as miracles from God, because Rinne is practically impossible to get by.

The Sedin twins reeeeeallly need to step up their game. They're non-existent pretty much this round. Though.... way to go Henrik on finally getting that playoff goal... in an empty net... :woo

Rinne doesn't deserve MVP at this point... he's losing this series and the first series he was below average. And it's Kesler. hehe

So far it's tough to say who deserves the MVP being only two rounds in and the fact a lot of the second round series are still going. For goaltending I think Roloson has been one of if not the most impressive these playoffs thus far. Rinne has only been strong for one series.

:slap:slap:slap

do you even watch any of the other games? Rinne is not even close to MVP material.

Honestly... no. This postseason, i simply follow the canucks. And as of right now from what i've seen of him, he's a pain in my arse for being very good this series with vancouver. True, he is currently losing, but it can't be denied that he has still played very well against vancouver. The Canucks just happen to be getting a few more by Rinne than the Preds are Luongo. And i hope it stays that way.

As for not knowing much about Rinne from the regular season and the first round of playoffs... well, that's why i am neither a hockey analyst nor someone who votes for MVP. Lol.
