Blowing out your rotator cuff from lifting too much weight without a trainer or a spotter is improper training. Yeesh. lol :cuckoo:

I meant his trainer was having him work improperly. According to someone who worked in the MSG front office, he was under proper supervision, it was just a very questionable training regimen. That's how he was able to get the full $6m contract payout.

Okay, gotcha. :slap

On the bright side, his injury did result in the awesome piece of goaltending equipment, the glocker.

It's a shame he didn't have much success with it, although not terribly surprising. I play goal, and couldn't imagine not having full use of the glove.

Oh yeah I forgot he had two blockers... well... like you said a glocker. lol

Anyone have pics?

Nevermind. hehe

A couple other shots:

There used to be a lot of really good shots of the glove on a goalie board I'm on, but apparently pictures tend to disappear after five or so years.

I used to play goal. I want to play goal again or defence. I don't have enough skill with the puck to be a forward... or a scoring forward. I think if I worked hard at it and practiced enough I would be a half decent scorer in a dumpy hockey league. lol

Even before any working hard at it or practicing, you could fit right in on my beer league team. They are AWFUL. I see about (literally) 60 shots a game, 1/3 of those being odd man rushes.

The downside is I don't get many wins (but who cares in a league like that), the bright side is I see more action than any drill session imaginable, and the sheer number of shots I face makes my save percentage pretty ridiculous.

:lol
We know this is how he injured himself.

I still think that ____ is funny as hell :rotfl

If you see the full clip on youtube or wherever its funny, even Avery looks at the ref laughing like he couldn't believe he just did that. I believe his comment after the game was could you imagine if I did that, the league would send me back to rehab :rotfl

Habs Sabres -- Not the most thrilling matchup.
Nice to see Price showing some consistency to help the win.

Once Subban calms down a bit, he's likely going to become the next model offensive defenseman.

So you think he'll do some Guess or Calvin Klein ads then? :monkey3

Fridays tidbits

NHL - ____in joke. Letang doesnt even reach Blake Homeau's armpit, yet he goes down like hes been shot and jumps oout on teh next shift, he should get 2 game suspension for ruining the integrity of the

Hab/Sabres on a Friday night = snore fest, those were some exciting goals the Habs scored...

Leafs...bubble will bust soon, when they play some real teams

4-0-0 ____ the Habs.

I think the league is more exciting with a solid Maple Leafs team. It just makes it that much more pleasing to watch the Leafs blow it in the playoffs. Realistically speaking, once teams stop playing the Leafs like they're a peewee club, the Leafs go back to winning one out of every five. It's also time for Burke to make a stupid trade.

Leafs...bubble will bust soon, when they play some real teams and not ones like the Pens.

You think so? haha!.

I'll still take Seguin, Knight, and future top 5 pick over the Philsbury Doughboy.

____ no!!, this deal keeps looking better and better, Kessel was in good shape and now he is in even better shape and will be a scoring machine this season.

Well, surprise surprise

Crickets in here when the Pens wipe the floor with Flyers

Richards/Carter and Briere were invisible tonight, I dont get it

and dont even start with the penalties, they deserved everyone of them

Is this what it's going to be like all season?
Each of us taking turns slamming the Flyers, Pens, Habs, Leafs, and Bruins?
