Whadda d'ya know? Marc-Andre Fleury with 5 wins in his past six starts and a 30 save shutout last night. This is why I don't write guys off 10 games into a season. :wave

Scooby doo 1 stinkin shutout against those world beater Sabres, its his 2 in almost 2 full years :slap

yeah. i was gonna post that it was against the sabres who rank right up there with the oilers, islanders, and leafs. but i didn't want to offend the islander and oiler fans.

5 wins in a row for Fleury and has stopped 73 of his last 74 shots. He's such an AHL calibre guy. I wished we never had him. :monkey3

Glad he's playing well and his confidence is through the roof.

I love this battle between Crosby and Stamkos. Now if only Malkin had some real linemates. Same goes for Crosby, but more-so for Malkin.

i'm happy for Fleury. i saw him get a roughing penalty yesterday. it was awesome.

Stamkos is awesome. it seems like all we hear is Crosby this and Ovechkin that. good that Stamkos is lighting the lamp as well. Marty St. Loius has also got my attention. he's my size but he can skate with the best of them. he always seems to send the puck where it's supposed to go. he gets a lot of credit for making Stamkos look good.

It can't be fun being Vinnie right now. He's getting 10 million a year for the next ten years? That contract will cost the Lightning big time as I highly doubt he can play up to a contract worth half that. Stamkos is already showing more promise than Vinnie ever did.

Too bad teams can't cut players.

So close to buying a Winter Classic Pens jersey tonight, but I do I have morals so I resisted.

i'm on the fence for a jersey too. i just don't think i'm a jersey kinda guy. they don't look good on me. i'm too skinny. you should have got one yesterday. i think NHL shop had a black friday sale on jerseys. i still passed though.

I think it was just free customization from what I saw but the next jersey I buy will def be legit.:exactly:

I go with players. Right now I have a Bourque old road, Bourque Pooh bear, Bergeron WC, Savard 3rd, Chara home, and an old game worn Rosie Ruzicka somewhere at my dad's in Quebec.

I still have a blank authentic waiting around. I'm not sure who I'll get next, but I'm leaning towards Krejci.

the only jerseys i ever had are a Pens Jagr and a Blackhawks Chelios. i still have the jagr but i don't know what happened to the chelios one. it's too bad cuz i really liked that one.

I keep saying if you buy a jersey... Chinese knock offs aren't the best builds. You sweat like a motha in them and you seen me guys I am as lean as they come. So if I sweat in them, so will you. It's all that horrible non breathable polyester they use. The badges and stitching is cheap and does not match up with an authentic. I bought one Chinese knock off and it's night and day from a pro authentic. Lighter, smaller, cheaper looking, patches do not match to the real mccoy, and like mentioned before, you sweat like a motha!

Go game worn if you do authentic. Authentic costs 250 if it's pro. That gives you an NHL build jersey. One with added padding for the shoulders and elbows and a fighting strap. Semi-pros go for a 100 dollars less minus all the aforementioned. Lettering and numbers cost another 100 bills to the jersey. Or you take your chances with evilbay.

Going game worn gives you the jersey off a player's back. What does that mean? Chance that your jersey does not depreciate in value. That you own a guy's jersey that you admire, and can say he played in it. The fact it has history. NHL authentics are worthless once purchased off the rack. You'll be lucky to sell one for 200 bucks.

Why spend 350-400 after taxes to get an authentic pro made up or even 250 for a semi-pro, which isn't even an official jersey and have it depreciate quicker than a Windows computer? Get a game worn. Seriously! If you're a wise consumer you can get even the better players at a deal. I took on a Henrik Sedin gamer through my team and got it for 500 CDN. It was going for 750 US at the time. Few months later, Henrik wins the Art Ross and Hart and it's going for over a grand. Granted the Crosby and Ovechkins go for insane amounts. That's why I take on guys before they get big and noticed.

I have almost 10 game worns in my collection. My next one is a Brampton Battalion OHL away jersey. Yes, game worn. Click on the link...

that's great if you are a collector of NHL memorabilia, but i just want to wear it. so my question is should i get an "authenic" jersey for wearing, or is that overkill? i'd like to own a lot of jerseys but i just don't have that kind of cash. i'm more of a hat guy. i've got hats from about 20 NHL teams, past and present. i hope to have a hat from every team eventually.

https://www.meigray.com has a big sale on. You can get some jerseys for half off... 500 dollar gamer will cost you 250. Heck, you can wear a gamer. I do to games. I'll probably get one of my Luc Bourdon or Henrik Sedin framed. :)

Do some research on fakes first, some of them really are not that that bad at all, depends what team you are looking for. I was browsing some official replica NHL player jerseys the other week and ____ they are so cheaply made and for around $170-200 for a player jersey to casually wear around, ____ that noise.

Good point, the best bet is let someone you know buy them and pick the best of the bunch, there is always someone I knwo trying to sell me on these, Id pay an extra 20$ for a good fake, Ive paid anywhere from 40$ to 80$, they are all shat, but teh 40$ one is teh worst

NHL.com had free shipping and 30% of your next item, you could get 2 jerseys for about 280$

Those are semi-pros and no they aren't cheaply made. Unless you're looking at the 100 dollar ones that people usually have names and letters decaled on. That to me is cheap, and I haven't seen a good Chinese knock off that I couldn't spot as a fake. I seen many. I am the jersey collector remember. They do not breathe well either. I bought one and can say never again will I get another or will I wear it. In fact I may just give my one knock off away. I once tried to pawn mine off to this cute girl I met. She's a huge Crosby fan. The knock off I have is of Crosby. You are right though Valfar, some knock offs are better than others and it's good to see you back in the thread posting again.

In the end all I deal with is game worns from the teams of its players. But hats aren't a bad thing. Jackets and shirts are always nice. You don't have to get a jersey.

After this game Claude Julien needs to start answering some questions. The Bruins have rarely shown up in the first period this season. They have not come prepared to play in a majority of the games they've played in November. After how last season ended, I'm running out of patience.

Campbell/Marchand/Arniel on the PP? What a giant ____ you to the skill players.
