i started watching the Bruins game but it was so sloppy i turned it off and watched the detroit game instead.

I don't blame you, it was a terrible game. I'm sure the 1500 people in attendance enjoyed themselves in Atlanta. Of course if the Falcons didn't have a home game earlier in the day I'm sure it would've been a sellout.:rolleyes2

It's a shame to hear this about the Bruins.
I still think they're potentially the team to beat on the East.
However, it's not like teams are just going to roll over for them.

Can you believe how crazy the AHL has been this season? 5 goals for Omark in a game. 6 assists by Perreault, now 7 points by Tomas Tatar, tying an AHL record for most points in a single game. He also went an equally mind-blowing +7 throughout that contest. What's more of an amazing feat is as dominating as that game was for him, he had a mere 9 points in his first 20 games prior to that. Yet exploded with nearly the same production in the course of 1 game, that it took to achieve in the previous 20. lol

10-8 was the score of the game, and the shots were in the 40's for both teams if I remembered correctly. Sometimes, not always, it would be fun to see that in the NHL. I don't mind crazy shoot out games like that every once and a while. It definitely makes things more interesting for our American neighbors.

personally, i'd rather watch the worst hockey game before i watched any football game, but that's just me.

I am in the same boat. I couldn't even stomach watching a CFL Grey Cup game, which was on last night. That, and it's very boring to watch the same two teams in the Final that have been there and done that more times than I can count in the past decade. What comes after 5? You'll get that though with a league that has eight teams.

RIP Burns. :(

NHL shop is having 20% off. what should i do? should i get a winter classic premier jersey or splurge and get an authentic pens jersey? anybody? i know what Eli would say: "get a game worn jersey with blood and sweat on it". but i don't want blood and sweat.

Game worn are cool, but in all honesty I would not spend that kind of money unless you want to get it framed. I own a Gonchar game worn ( Caps ) and I do wear it because it's in good shape.

Most game worns have stains, rips, black puck marks and everything else you can name on them so they don't exactly look good if that's what you're looking for.

I buy authentic ( not game worn, but same product as in NOT a cheap replica ) jerseys and am happy with them.

Do the 20 percent off dude and get into a fight and it can be your own blood and sweat on the jersey. hehe

Many game worn collectors wear their jerseys to sporting events (mainly hockey games) and it depends on the player. There are many deals to be had out there. I never have spent more than 500 dollars on a gamer and I have some that are worth 2,000 now. It's about being a smart consumer and knowing your guys and who's will grow in value in later days because of their potential.

Sometimes I just buy a gamer because the jersey looks nice and appeals to me and value down the road be damned. In the end I rarely sell my stuff. I love the history of those jerseys, but I am getting one of my gamers framed. Btw Like most local game worn collectors here, we only wear our jerseys at hockey games and rotate them. If looked after properly nothing will happen to them. They go back in a bag and hanger, like ones you would buy for a nice suit. It keeps the cat hair, dander, and dirt from getting in. Well for me since I have cats.

I just love the hobby. Anyway, I am looking to buy a seat from the old igloo, I wonder when and if they'll go up for sale...

Oh, and to those who said Marc-Andre Fleury was an AHL caliber guy and should be traded or dropped....

Hottest goalie in the hockey world in the last 9 games: 8-0-1, 1 SO, 1.50 GAA - Patience is a beautiful thing. hehe

Yeah, absolutely despicable. I'm really hoping that person is stupid enough to sell that stuff and gets caught, or just plain gets caught.

Really ____ty thing for someone to do.

My only question is, why were they in the car to begin with? Was she heading to a pawn shop after the funeral or something?
