It's a good bet that it's a replica if he bought it at a chain store. Authentic will cost about $300+. Replicas are about $150 to $200 depending on the store and most stores don't sell the authentics.

Does it have the fight strap? If not it's a replica for sure.

i'm not a fan of the new Reebok jersey styles. i've been tracking down older CCM jerseys lately. they just fit better.

I disagree about the fit on Reeboks, they are generally good IMO because they are a fitted construction, and the IIHF Nike jerseys are a even better fit/lay i think.

The older KOHO/CCM jerseys are a more durable construction but, sometimes looks like a dress if you are wearing one with jeans, depends on the size ofcourse, my CCM Sundin 2000 home jersey(player replica) in Medium fits pretty good on me.
