Well well

Pens showed up tonight, awesome game, finally got to see the Pens wax the ____ty habs.

I wonder what percentage of goals are scored by the Habs that actually come from teh blade of their stick :)

Congrats Desharnais your first career goal was a beaut...

I'm all for showmanship and if you are proud of the way your team played then great. But, I would also we weary of doing anything if I'm facing that same team within the next couple of games.

I liked the post game interview with Fleury:

Reporter - questions him about the gesture at the end of the game
Fleury - I thought thats how you celebrate wins in Montreal

:lol

Defense was apparently optional for the game.

Bruins have really been turning it up in the 3rd lately.

Did they go upstairs to review the Boston 5th goal? It looked the puck hit the netting just above the glass following a Bruins clearing attempt. Bruins took control and then scored. Do the NHL rules allow for goals to be disallowed (by the upstairs review)for this sort of reason?

From the NHL's site - "Should the puck strike the spectator netting at the ends and the corners of the arena, play shall be stopped and the ensuing face-off shall be determined as if the puck went outside the playing area. However, if the puck striking the spectator netting goes unnoticed by the on-ice officials, play shall continue as normal and resulting play with the puck shall be deemed a legitimate play. Players must not stop playing the game until they hear the whistle to do so."

If anything it was a makeup for the Flyers being offsides on one their goals.:wink1:

So they can't go upstairs for a review?
Yeesh. If it happened to any other team other than the Flyers, it would appear a shame.

It seems like there's no way for the Habs, Flyers, Pens, and Bruins to do well all at the same time... lol.
