P.S. In the NHL, you don't wait for luck to happen. You make it happen.
Far more will happen by shooting at the net than by just passing it around waiting for that perfect play.

Your such a homer :)

There is a HUGE difference by creating chances and getting lucky goals that keepers completely gaf on. The first was just pure luck, Thomas was alseep. The second was different but still off a skate, thats how they get goals, cuz they still dont have enough talent to score off their sticks. Even patches goal, Thomas shoudl have stupped that, it was ____in wrist shot

Let me see if I understand this... It's the Habs' fault for shooting at the net and for Thomas not playing the pucks well -- all 4 times the puck went in (one of which was called off due to a super technicality). Goodness forbid the Bruins screwed up, or heaven's forbid, were outplayed by a team who wanted it more.

I really enjoy your posts, Deez. You remind me of Scully on the X-Files who even when she came face to face with all sorts of things, she'd still deny it all or blame it on the wind or something. The Habs can win the Stanley Cup and you'd still say they did nothing to deserve it and that it was all luck or due to cheating or whatever. There are no excuses in Hockey, just wins and losses.

:D

P.S. As much as I looooooooooath the Flyers, I can still recognize a great team. They are remarkably well coached. While I can sit there and say they cheap shot from time to time, so what? They play to win even if it means having to watch Pronger pulverize a 5'2" player like Gionta. This isn't a mama's boy's sport. If you're going to swim with sharks, you better bring some band-aids.

its not there fault they went in, but its not like they out play anyone, they get SO many lucky goals and calls its crazy, and they will NEVER win the cup with this team. I watch alot of hockey, no team gets bounces like them and they are always in close games. Look at Patches, 3 goals so far, two off a skate/player and the other one a wrister from way out the keeper should have saved.

I agree, Philly is the team to beat in the East, but dont think they can win the cup with those goalies.

If he should have then he would have. Period.

P.S. You know how many games are lost due to goalies not making the saves they should make?
It happens every night. To Price as well.

Chicago won with Niemi. Is he much better than what the Flyers have at present? Look at his SJ numbers. They're abysmal.

Who can beat Philly out West? Detroit? Maybe. No one else.
Vancouver will maybe make it to the second round and then choke as usual.

Philly....pfffft. anaheim had no trouble beating them twice this year. everybody always counts out the west teams. but it seems the east teams always start struggling around the mid season point while the west teams start picking up steam.

Eli26, I think your right about Vancouver.

Luongo is still a HUGE question mark. His track record in the playoffs is not good. If Vancouver keeps Schnieder as back-up they have a great chance. If they use him for trade-bait at the deadline, I think they might make the 3rd round but no more.

They play like crap for 56 minutes and then steal points against a very good team.

This team really confuses the living ____ out of me.

I dont get it either, and not the Bruins, the Pens

WTF Fleury, he makes great saves and then lets knuckle balls in from the point?? and wo was covering 85 year old Recchi that they couldnt push him out of the front of the net :slap

I dont even want to go to the game on Wednesday anymore

Nice upset by the B's.

Upset?? Have you seen the Pens record against the good teams in the east? Their terrible, and I dont consider the Habs one of those teams. 12 game winning streak and Fleury this Fleury that, no more beating the Sabres and Panthers, such a false sense of accomplishment. I know Crosby is only one player, but they need to look at these recent games and hope its just the adjustment phase of putting Staal back in the line up or it will be another early playoff exit

0 to 4 in one period is an upset IMO, especially when your playing a team that is up on a pedestal.

I was speaking in general, yes upset going into the third, but had i bet pre game I was taking the Bruins

At this point, I wouldn't bet on the Bruins, Pens, or Habs for anything.
They're all playing mediocre hockey right now. They'll eventually turn things around.

Fun one to watch tonight with Bergeron's "2" hat tricks.:lol I wonder if his second goal will hold up or if they'll correct it to Wheeler.

Overall a positive 60 minute effort, with the Philly game looming Thursday.

Hey Bruins fan, what kind of numbers do you see Kampfer getting in his better days and where do you see Caron's future with the B's?

Pronger is set to return as early as Friday:rock

As long as he is in the game at the end of the month that is the most important game of the season that is all that matters atm for me. I wouldn't care at all if we lost every game after that, the 23rd is all that matters to me.
