Has anyone seen Tuukka Rask? There was a game tonight at 7:30 and he still hasn't shown up.

I hate the Belle Centre, damn house of horrors for the Bruins. A first round match with the Habs still frightens me quite a bit, especially seeing how they've "played" them thus far tonight.

As if this game needed this happening. I don't think he did it on purpose. Sucks for Chara. Sucks for MaxPac. Hope he'll be alright. Scary play.

I thought Patches was dead

GUess he will think twice next time before pushing a seasoned vet out of the way after potting the GWG

What was the penalty on the play? Roughing/Charging?

5 minute major for interference and then the game misconduct. At best without him hitting the stanchion it's a 2 minute interference call. The game misconduct was a bit reactionary, but in the grand scheme of hoping the game didn't devolve into what happened a few weeks ago I guess I understand.

5 Min major for interference? Is that in the rule book?

The league is so afraid of its perception by non fans

Would still have liked to see Subban get his ass kicked

It's a pretty rare call. On youtube videos I looked up it seems like a roughing or boarding call would be more appropriate, but it's called interference.

Team 990 should be in rare form tomorrow.:monkey1

All the "bro's" will be calling for Chara's head

Habs school the Bruins, again. That's 4 wins out of 5 this year so far.
Playing rough and tough hockey guarantees you nothing.

I don't think anyone wanted to play after the second period.

Lucic and Horton looking to fight with 3 minutes left.
Typical Bruins. They'll never win with that type of karma.

Any of the Habs stand up for their fallen team mate, when the game was a lock?

Bunch of sackless *******

Fractured vertebrae and severe concussion for Pacioretty. Boston radio is still calling it a clean hit and that the 5 minute penalty on the play wasn't at all a fair call on the part of the refs.

Pacioretty's parents were at the bell centre.

This is a clear example of the pitiful wild west attitude that is killing the sport of hockey.
Why don't you just watch wrestling or ultimate fighting to satiate your neandrathal bloodlust?

Condoning even further violence on the ice is perhaps the dumbest thing I have ever heard you or anyone else say on the boards.

It wasn't a dirty hit. It's just unfortunate that the hit took place where it did. Do you really think it was Chara's intent to drive his head into the stanchion? He has no history of dirty play and I don't think he'd intentionally do this.

I just saw that they said it was his C4, which is scary as hell. As the old saying goes "c4 and breathe no more". This could have been a real tragedy on the ice and shows how dangerous this game can be.

I'm surprised Chara wasn't suspended. Now I don't think it would be deserved but none the less I'm surprised he didn't get a couple games. Hockey has a image problem and this won't help one way or another.

And it's this kind of ignorance that perpetuates the stereotype of...well...idiots.

:lol

Edit: Sorry. Maybe I should explain a bit more; but having that sheltered view of a sports' fanbase does absolutely nothing to help your cause. If anything, it hurts it. I understand you're upset since you're obviously a fan of the Canadians, but throwing insults around like a two year old isn't really helping anyone to see your viewpoint.

And cleary has never had a teammate in his life.

RS, Have you ever played organized sports?? And beer league softball doesnt count.

Teammates hsould stand up for each other, and had the Habs done less talking and face washing this would never have happened

Kudos to Ryan White

You should hear the local callers on the radio, crying all day

"I had to cover my kids eyes" Give me a ____in break with the drama, Habs fans were chanting F U Chara. Easier to explain to my kids the hit than what FU means
