Weird game last night... They dominated the 1st period, then the Kings gained some momentum but i never felt as if the Sharks would lose.... Does that make sense? I just can't see LA outscoring them.

No Kopitar will be there downfall, and knowing Justin Williams the biggest band-aid boy around he could be the next to go.

Good win for the Caps tonight, and the night got even better hearing the news of the pens getting crushed by the bolts

Pens couldnt finished and Fluery killed all our momentum with that banana at the end of the second

BUt whats with the boring ass Habs style hockey in the east, ____ its terrible, its like pre lockout all over again

Habs, Bolts Sabres, all the same ____

Gotta say, Vancouver fans are pretty damn classy when it comes to the playing of the U.S. National Anthem. I mean, I've noticed the classy responses from Toronto fans on occasion, and from Vancouver and Calgary fans as well, but I guess it was cool to hear it during an obviously passion-filled game.

Oh, and let's go Sabres!!!

Uh recently yes,(the classy part) but in the mid '90s Vancouver fans would boo the Canadian anthem if sung in French.

Coach Eli where is your praise for Fleury tonight?

game 1 and 2 = Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

I'm not just talking about Fleury but the team as a whole played pretty ____ty in my opinion. Paul Martin had a brutal giveaway that resulted in a goal and penalty's cost us this game. I'm not saying Fleury played good he did not, but wasn't horrid either. The first goal he was off his angle which showed when a Dman easily picked the corner.

But, when your PP is 0-12 that is a bigger problem then Fleury. With no 87 or 71 they need to figure out how to put the puck in the net when they are up a player. I could go on and on, but the point is we lost and didn't play well overall. I expect a more solid team play on monday. I also am predicting that 87 will either start practicing with contact early next week or we won't see him until next fall. Win or lose.

Oh yes Deeznutz, because one bad game equals an entire season. Deja vu much? We'll just forget the majority of the games where Marc-Andre Fleury was by far and large the team's best player. Like he was in Game 1. *shakes head*

EVERYONE has a bad game every once and a while. The problem is with no Crosby and Malkin (two former Art Ross scoring Champs) and half of your team's offensive presence taken out of the lineup, our chances of going deep with this team look bleak. Your team needs to score on even strength and special teams more than ever, and we just don't have a capable team in that regard. We play a tight defensive game, by keeping on everyone and suffocate their top talent by giving them no room to be creative. And that's all good, but that can only get you so far with a weak supportive forward cast. When our D is exposed, we're dead in the water. Our supposed No. 1 line has zero chemistry (the line of Neal-Letestu-Kovalev)... As good as Lets is he just isn't 1st line material and this experiment has been a failure since Day 1. Despite saying that, their line has remained together unfortunately by "forced" situation. This defeat does not surprise me. Prior to tonight's game, the fact that we can even say the Pens went 9-2-0 in their past 11 games including their Game 1 3-0 victory, does. The bubble was bound to burst at some point. I'm just surprised it took this long. I am quite relieved and happy, because it shows what this team can do without No. 87 and 71 in the lineup. We never got to see the team truly tested in that regard, and they have flourished. It's actually quite exhilarating.

Now I am not saying this spells the end for the Pens, but no way they make it deep with this current roster. They'll be very fortunate to make it out of this round. If they do I can say kudos to the Pens for being 1 point out of tops in the East for points, and that isn't bad considering their two big superstars were out for half a season each, and the fact they are even competitive in this series, a series that boasts the likes of Stamkos, St. Louis, Lecavalier, Gagne, and Malone. You can thank coaching (not just Blysma, but thank special teams coach Granato), a great disciplined defensive system, pick ups of Michalek and Martin (thanks Shero!) and the great goaltending, and who's their starter? FLEURY! Thank you! Here's coach Eli, signing off.

Edited for corrections. Damn, it's hard typing when you got only 4 hours of sleep last night. Which reminds me, pillow meet Eli's head. zZZZzzzzzZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

Never said it equalled an entire season, but I still dont think he played that great during the year. yes he won some games for us, but thats what he gets 5.5 million a year for. Fleury is his own worst enemy, if he lets one in early and if its a real softie hes dont mentally for the night.

There system and current line up should get them past TB, but they need Fleury to be consistent and the PP has to do something, its god awful right now.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Well, after watching the Bruins for 84+ games this season, I think I can safely say they're pretty much ____ed now. These last 2 games have just been immensely frustrating.

If Clod comes out after this game and praises anything he can just go to hell. We're past moral victories now. It's time for results-based analysis. It's the ____ing playoffs. This joke should have been fired last May and if he isn't unemployed by some time next week I'd be kinda pissed.
