Oh, and like I am not having fun... So EPIC EPIC EPIC! Also, welcome to the thread, keep posting. Pretty exciting how this Pen team still manages to thrive despite no 87 and 71 on it.

Just do me a favor, tell Ringer he doesn't know anything for me and that Kit Fisto is killing the fun of tearing the Caps apart when he does it oh so well himself. You wouldn't even know he was a Caps fan.

And then there is bumblebutts... ignore him. As for your buddy Badmoon, you sir do not need to await for his approval.

I'm fine, I don't know enough about the entire League to smack talk on here, but since there might not be NFL this upcoming season I thought I'd start chatting in here some. I'm just funning it up some, too. I always got some love for Pens or Steelers fans.

Hopefully they can ride the momentum from that first win, and double-hopefully Sid comes back, and soon. My favorite is Geno, but we know where that went Amazing job this season all around. Dare I say, EPIC?

A far cry from the 50 goal guy we thought we were getting. Heater, Jumbo and Marleau sounded like a dream line, now they aren't even line-mates.

This is my favorite time of the sporting year... Baseball has started and the Stanley Cup Playoffs are going.

It is a great time! The days are longer and the weather is warmer. Snow is melting and nearly gone (for us Northerners) and Summer is just around the corner. Definitely the best time of the year.

You can always start somewhere. Do talk smack. hockeysfuture.com is a great site for prospects and hockeys future. Also great discussion of the NHL, AHL, and Junior teams. I also post on the forums there. I also think that hockeydb.com is a great resource for player statistics, history, The Hockey News website is great for player write ups, dobberhockey.com is good as well for all things hockey fantasy. nhl.com is a great place to start.

Yup, much better than that ____ they finished their regular season with. Can't complain at all with the effort tonight though. Bobrovsky did just as good as Miller considering that this was his very first ever playoff game.

I know I'm a day late, but I must say that was probably the most complete game I've seen the pens play since 87 & 71 went down. Shero is showing is brilliance yet again by signing Z and Martin. They have been playing great D for us lately. Orpik's hit to start the game set the tone for the night.

I must say I feel bad for St. Louis for the stick he took to the mouth. Obviously not intentional and he was falling to the ice on top of it, but I know if it was reversed I would be pissed about the missed call. Lecavier's nifty between the legs shot was pretty sweet too!

Fleury played a great game again. He will need to be our Conn Smythe if we go far. Good start and ready for game 2!!

100% agreed. They learned to play minus Sid and Geno, and throwing even just Sid back into that formula could be harmful. So many guys had to step up and found out, or finally got to show, they're better than what everyone thought. Sid coming back might cause some of these guys to take a back seat again. But, Sid is the team points leader having only played 41 games (if I'm correct), that's something you want back.

The coaching and goal tending are what saved the season, and I think it'll be what carries them far into the play-offs, Sid or no Sid.





*Thanks for the sites, definitely have to check those out. Especially since I'm sick of anything NFL related right now, because it's nothing but praise of Cam Newton. Which with him I'm smelling another Jemarcus Russell or Vince Young. But they're topics for another thread. GO PENS!!

Weird game last night... They dominated the 1st period, then the Kings gained some momentum but i never felt as if the Sharks would lose.... Does that make sense? I just can't see LA outscoring them.
