Fleury backstopping the Pens with 32 saves, and being the best player on the team since Crosby has gone down, despite Dbags saying he should be sent down or traded at the beginning of the season...

1 guy (me, turns foot in and tilts head to shoulder, bats eye lashes) who showed patience and support through those bad times and supported Fleury, through the worst times, only to see him kick MONDO ass since!

I, for one, wanted to kill Fleury at the beginning of the season, and during last year's play-offs. But, I must admit I'm glad they stuck with him because he (and Johnson combined, but mostly Fleury) saved their season and put them where they are at this point. At the least, he should be Team MVP. Very deserving of that.

Where did you come from and why do you need badmoon's approval? Should I mock you now since you're new to the thread and that's what Badmoon did to another poster who posted for the first time here? Nope, I am not like that.

Yeah, he sucked balls all year. 26 goals is way too low a total.

Yeah, traded him for Zetterberg and a 2nd. My logic? Year younger. Canadian. Canadian born players that are durable tend to have an extended life, and he's a multicat guy. Of course, Zetts gets in the 80's in points and Heater gets barely over 60. Ugh.
Lowest total since his rookie year. He had 26 goals that season as well, but 3 more points, and was a rookie! The year of his accident doesn't count. He played a small portion of that season (13 goals in 31 games), was rusty from injury, not to mention a bruised ego and fragile confidence. A vehicular homicide will do that to a person. Even then he was on a 35 goal pace. Ugh.

A far cry from the 50 goal guy we thought we were getting. Heater, Jumbo and Marleau sounded like a dream line, now they aren't even line-mates.
This is my favorite time of the sporting year... Baseball has started and the Stanley Cup Playoffs are going.
