We had the NHL's longest winning streak last season minus both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin and 4 of our top six forwards out of the lineup. That streak went on for 12 games. We won a total of 49 games without half of our top forwards. That is why Dan Blysma won Coach of the Year. Now we have a hungrier, 100 percent healthy and highly motivated Malkin in the lineup, and a very healthy Penguins squad outside of Crosby, who is practicing with the team. So far everything is coming along smoothly... you'll be taking the guy's money before he even hands it to you.
But then again, this is the guy who challenged my info and was buried by your's truly. So he's an easy mark.
We proved last year we had the best top 4 defensemen and when Sid and Geno are on we have the best 1-2 punch in the league, and they all play in a very good system implemented by Blysma, Yeo, and Granato.
Rangers took last year's season series and we only got better, especially adding Richards.
Is Crosby still seeing double?
