What's with all the banner references?

Because the Rangers put up banner for everything and are well on the way to retiring every number of every player that played on the cup team in 94.
C'mon, Adam Graves? Really? Who's next, Essa Tikkanen, Craig MacTavish, Kevin Lowe.

Price looks awesome so far this year. I've never seen him look so calm out there. Markov looks amazing. Cole looks 90.

How long before the Ovechkin trade rumors begin? It appears that he still hasn't been able to bounce back from losing to the last place team in the playoffs a few years back.

Ovie sucks without the roids it seems, doesn't help he has no heart or leadership skills!

It is a joke... Graves is hardly retire number worthy. With only 99 numbers to go on, you don't want to be retire crazy. Won't be any numbers left.

Graves statistically had one fantastic 50 goal season to speak of and as good of a role player he was, there are many just as good as him... Point is role players shouldn't make the HOF or have their jerseys retired. And by role players... I am talking about career depth role guys. Granted they have...
