Re: 2013 NHL Season

Fleury has been unreal during our PK that lasted for what seemed like forever. Two back-to-back 5 on 3's and that beautiful glove hand on Kessel's shot. TO is 0 for 5 on the PP tonight. Love the Pens defence and the goaltending has been spot on during the PK in this second. I just wished our guys were more selfish and shot more vs. passing so much. Example: Sutter passing to a player, with a TO defenseman between them (who easily breaks up the pass), when he had the open shot.

Spoke too soon. TO just scored. Oh well.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Fleury played well tonight, to many offensive turn overs

Leafs played hard deserved the win

Thank you for admitting this game was not his fault. Also, didn't help how undisciplined the team was with all the absurd passing going around. Costly penalties and the record amount of 5 on 3 opportunities we gave them.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Crosby was pretty ill-mannered this game. He looked pretty darn frustrated but then again, I would be too if I had Phaneuf nailing me into the boards every shift.

Yeah, but at the end of the day (not this day, but year), Pittsburgh will be higher in the standings. One game, is one game. But it was one severely undisciplined game by this team. They can't expect to win games playing like that.

I am starting to take notice that Colton Orr is the toughest goon around. lol Good ol' local boy kicking *** and taking names. Left a nice shiner on Engelland.

Orr has to be my favourite Leaf- I was so happy when Burkie brought him to T.O. He fights with class, nothing dirty and even contributes with heavy hits and grit on the 4th line.

But he really ****ed up Engelland's eye, he was icing it every time he was on the bench :lol

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Yeah I saw Engelland ice his eye a lot during the game, but that is what you do to bring the swelling down. I think he was tough to stick in the game despite that. Some guys actually leave the game, even if its for a period. Probably impaired his vision.

Oilers fly together.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

How can you miss a player that gives you a guy like Nash? Man, he looks like such a good fit for that team.

In the same sentence I said the trade was well worth it. Nash is by far the most noticeable player on the ice for the rangers right now, even with gaby getting a hat trick last night. He jumped ahead of Boyle on my needed jersey list. (1. DZ 2.Step 3.Nash 4. Boyle 5. McD)

Re: 2013 NHL Season

They look solid so far. Crawford is starting to look like he belongs in the net, and Kane and Toews can finally sleep in separate rooms. :lol

I'm glad Kaner is off to good start. Hopefully this year we'll hear more about his play on the ice than off it.:lol

Tonight they're in Dallas!:yess:

Can't wait until you play my North Stars......oh wait. :lol

The 'Hawks come up to your neck of the woods next Wed.:hi5:
