Go Habs! Go! Hiya Eli!

You know what scares me? Lets go back to the 1992/93 NHL season. The Penguins are 1st in the East and Montreal take second place. Pens lost to the Isles in 93 playoffs (this year's Isles look great down the stretch), and if you remember correctly, les Canadiens won the Cup. It's exactly 20 years later. Could history repeat itself? Dun dun dun.

I hope not.

But if the Pens fail to win a Cup, I have no issue with a Canadian team taking it. Even though Gary and the BOG don't want to see that happen. See 2004 SCF, Gelinas scores what appears to be a perfectly legal and good goal for the Stanley Cup winner in Game 6, only to have it called off and deemed no good in the replay. That tells me something is up.

To this day reports say Khabby (who was a starter for the Lightning) was not proud of the ring he got.

I suppose it's better to send the Cup to a small market US city vs. a hockey town like Calgary, that will thrive with fan support, for good or bad.

Yeah, I get that it maybe a conspiracy theory (Eli wearing a tin foil hat), but it looked blatantly obvious with how things went down there. The goal was perfect. It was as clear as day. We all saw it go in. There was no question if it was a good or bad goal. It was a solid good goal. But the officials saw otherwise. Hmmm... Makes you think.

I think he's a good coach but I can tell you that he'll be tossed if the Flyers don't make the playoffs this year... and we all know that the odds are slim to none.

There is going to be a lot of changes up in the summer for the Flyers- looks like Laviolette, Briere and Bryz will all be gone.
