Well said. Having said that, since Vokoun has been in net (aside from a few blunders), he has been terrific!

5-1-1 with a 1.82 GAA and .942 save percentage in these playoffs. Those are pretty strong numbers.

Yeah Caps fans are watching Vokoun play and are hating GMGM even more!

I don't see why, he's a short term option. Great today, sure. But tomorrow (maybe), but a few years from now... he's pretty much done. I will say this, he is a great option for a team of now. How was Washington's offence these playoffs, because clutch goaltending or not, your team has to score to help your goalie steal those games.

Exactly, Vokoun is a good short term option becuase the Pens score so often, he can lay a stinker at any moment and like MAF cost us the game.


Memory serves me right, Wings went to the final 6 times

2 twice against the pens, Cap, Flyers, Devils and Canes

Too deep, too talented.

Sometimes in life no matter what you do, the other guy/team is just plain better than you. The Sens ran up against that team.

Neal - 7 pts. in past two games.

Hopefully Pens/Bruins will be a good series.

That was a savage beat down. I am so glad the Pens are my favorite team. I picked them in 1990 as a fav and haven't looked back.

My top 5 favorite Pens are now:

1. Mario Lemieux
2. Ron Francis

3. Sidney Crosby
4. Evgeni Malkin

5. James Neal

Hey guys sorry if I missed it read on NHL.com that the NHL awards this year will be announced before game 2 of the Cup finals during an hour long show, so does that mean no acceptance speeches and players in attendance? Just a bunch of analysts and a host reading off names?

For years every Bruin PP has been anchored by the blast from the point. Krug may finally be the D-Man that makes it work. Or he could just be Matt Hunwick 2.0 next year.

That kid came out of no where. While not like he uses it, but if he did.... Brian Dumoulin is our answer to Torey Krug. He's a fantastic set up dman, who is smart positionally and defensively. I am excited for him next year.

He's a great kid. His parents and mine have been friends for years. I can't wait to see him with the Pens next year.

Could you hook me up with a game used stick of his... I love him. Would gladly pay. I am a big Dumoulin fan. He's on two of my keeper leagues. I have followed him even back to his Carolina days. I know a lot about his career. That is so cool you know him!

Speaking of Dumoulin he is 11-2-5-7, plus-4 in the AHL playoffs. His WBS Pens came back from a 3-0 deficit and won four straight to advance to the third around! Woohoo! Unbelievable!

Syracuse must be pissed.
