If this one wraps tomorrow night does Tortorella survive?

I hope not, I hate him, have since he started letting his personal feelings dictate the roster back with Avery(who I am an even bigger fan of since he came and helped out around my neighborhood after it was pretty much leveled last fall)- I will never forgive him for that debacle.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Damn the Pens went off tonight! ECF is looking like it's gonna be a good series.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

They tighten up the defence collectively and they are unbeatable

Why couldnt that happen Sunday?

FML

FML? Overreacting much? Your life sucks that bad that the Pens had to win that game? Meant or not meant, it's a ridiculous thing to type. :slap

I just don't like when people use FML for trivial things or at all period. How about losing a dad and a house pet two weeks apart from eachother... or the fact it cost me nearly a 1,000 dollars to save a pet, only to find out it was going to die anyway. Your favorite hockey team losing a hard fought-out battle in double OT doesn't seem so bad now, eh? Just some food for thought.

It was never going to be a sweep. I didn't think so. Ottawa is a good team. Penguins are simply better.

Here's hoping we can wrap it up in Pittsburgh tomorrow.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

btw Deeznutz, only was on you because I care and wanted to give you perspective. That and I loathe how FML is used all the time for such lame things. Or at all.

But moving along, I am scared of Boston. They have some good talent, great defense, solid goaltending through out their tandem, and... MONDO physical.

LOOOOOOOCH

Re: 2013 NHL Season

I see that Brad Richards is a healthy scratch for the Rangers tonight.

He has 7 years left on his deal, with an annual cap hit of $6.66 million. Ouch!

Sounds like compliance buyout material to me. :horror

He is making 7 million and has 1 point in 10 games. Scott Gomez salary/production numbers.

Having said that you don't sit out one of your best players in a game that matters.

Very lame move... do this in Game 1, but not when you're down in a series half-way through. Who knows, maybe this knocks some sense....

btw My above post is intended to get Badmoon posting in here. Miss him in our discussions.

Re: 2013 NHL Season

Also, Patrick Roy is the new coach of the Colorado Avalanche.

I wonder how long he will last? :lol

I think he'll do just fine. He's a solid coach. I was wondering when he would get his first NHL gig. Perhaps you should do your research vs. mocking the guy. Beyond the ****** move he pulled with his son, he's had great success in a strong Quebec Major Junior League that has seen the likes of Guy Lafleur, Mario Lemieux, and of recent, Sidney Crosby rise from its ranks. I can see why Colorado hired him. History with the franchise aside.
