It was over after game 3 just like I said. I am not an overly negative person about life in general, but I am about the Caps because I KNOW them. I was negative in the Rangers series, but deep down I thought they COULD win that series even down 3-1 IF they played the way they could.

I saw the spark in the Pens after the game 3 win and I saw the look in the Caps eyes after the game 3 loss. I knew the series was OVER in favor of the Pens at that moment.

Regardless it ain't over man, we'll see what happens cuz i'm not feeling it over just yet. I smell a game 7 at least.

Now, I swear I can't watch this damn Nucks game any longer, my God I hate Vancouver. I wish Kesler to drop dead tonight while he's on the toilet, no joke.

Its not over yet, the Caps can come back, Gonch seems to be out for the rest of the playoffs, if the rest of the Caps can do something then they can at least force game 7.

Its not over! Caps came back agianst the Rangers(yes there O sucks ass but they had a better team D and goalie). So we've been here before and know what we need to do. All the pressure is on the Pens to end it in there house. Either way its sure to be a good game in whats been a good series.

I wouldn't say King Henry is better than the Flower. Team D, if the Pens played the way they did last game I can definitely say that is moot too.

I never said that Bee, just saying they threw their bodies into good scoring lanes and the Pens D blocked a lot of shots for the Flower. Until King Henry can have a deep playoff success that the Flower showcased in last year's playoffs I can say he's every bit as good. Also, in the last 30 games of the season, the Flower has been the best goalie in the NHL. Prior to that he was an average starter from October to parts of February. At one point he was barely at a .900 save percentage. Last 20 games of the regular season his save percentage was around .925...

Thing is when Fleury is on, he's REALLY on. Confidence plays a big factor with the kid. Now, whether he's a goalie God or the human sieve, is up to him and how confident he feels. His only knock is his inconsistency.

Now, by saying the Pens D was amazing lastnight... is making a factual statement. I am not saying they have been amazing all season. Thus why I said lastnight... man do people read my posts word for word, or hear what they want to hear? Or in this case, read what they want to read.

Pens D was amazingly lucky that less then a min into OT that David Steckal is a crappy shot and missed a open net from a few feet away.




And if were gonna say whos the best goalie playing right now its Cam Ward(oh and he's got a cup too).

So then saying Roy is better than Brodeur is BS!

Because Brodeur has a Gold medal and Roy doesn't.

It's a TEAM! Not an individual thing. Either way, ask anyone who knows hockey, and they'll say Fleury has been one of the better goalies in the NHL in the past two months. His last month he clearly was.

btw Many goalies let in goals from long shots.

I seen Brodeur, Luongo, and even King Henry let those in. So you're coming off silly if you say that Flower is crap because he lets in a bad goal every now and then. Even the best do as well. To say otherwise makes you ignorant.

I remember when your precious Roy let in a goal from the other end of the ice from a old, beat up, nearly retired, way-past-his-prime, Petr Stastny of the New Jersey Devils. He just dumped the puck down to make a line change and to get it out of NJ's zone. Not even looking to the net, skates off towards the bench, and Roy goes up to grab it, hops over his glove, and trickles behind him right into the net.

In these playoffs I would agree Cam Ward has been one of the better goalies in the NHL. I am going by the past 20 regular season games and playoffs combined. Sure, Fleury has been a bit more ordinary during these playoffs, but he has been solid enough to keep his Pens ahead in the 2nd round of playoff action. That in itself speaks volumes.

Never said he was, and I would say Martin Brodeur is better than Fleury by a country mile so stop assuming you crybabies.

Brodeur is my favorite goalie who is much better. I think many goalies are better than Fleury, but in the last 30 games, Fleury has been the best goalie. I watch the Pens more than anyone here, so I think I know. Well, I shouldn't say more than anyone here. Many Pens fans here and I don't know how close they follow the team. Heck, even TSN and CBC's big wigs who know their fair share of the sport, say he was the best goalie down the stretch and he has been great when the Pens needed him the most. Not being a homer when you stat facts. Just being honest. I was honest when I was saying my Pens were playing abysmal hockey in the first few months. Granted they had no adequate scoring wingers or Gonchar or Whitney. But the team was barely over .500 and they were on the outside looking in for a playoff spot.

Even when my Pens were brutal I let people know I wasn't happy. I even was upset the Penguins took Fleury over guys like Staal and Horton in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. I was like c'mon guys! This kid is overrated.

Do I think he has improved vastly since then? Yes! Do I think he's a Vezina calibre goalie. Not yet, and he won't be if he doesn't overcome his confidence and inconsistency issues. Could he? Time will tell. He's only 24 and is only getting better.

Do I think my Penguins will win the Stanley Cup this season? Hell no! I can say Anaheim, Detroit, Boston, or Carolina capturing the Cup. I don't see any other team outside of those aforementioned four that will take it. Especially now that we lost the anchor to our team.

But yes, I am clearly a homer. Atleast I don't cry to mommy and give up on my team when things look scary. This series isn't over yet, and I am not a 100 percent confident the Pens will win this series, as you shouldn't be 100 percent confident that your Caps are done.

Now lets get over all this homer BS. I for one am sick of these inaccurate tags. Now you two stop wiping eachother's butts for eachother, and enjoy the rest of these playoffs.

Where did I even mention Marty? I am talking Lundy vs Fleury and Lundy IS the better goalie at this point in time. If you can't admit that then yes, you're a blind homer.
