Cool. Nice pics.

The EX looks pretty sweet with that pirate sword and the blue paint is nowhere near as horrific as some people feared it would be. WIN!

ARGH, see, the pics posted above look great to me, are the photogs at SS saturating their finished photos? The ss pics look very dark/vibrant blue, in hand looks much much more subtle.

I actually have the Colossus comiquette on flex. He'll arrive next month. Crawler will be showing up on tuesday. I can't wait. I'm really digging the in hand shots of him so far.

As for the Colossus com, I understand why so many people don't like the piece. His face is hideous and his flesh portrait was a wasted EX. However, I actually like everything else about the piece. I like the pose and the new costume. The scale isn't an issue for me because I don't collect or like PFs. I only collect comiquettes and 95% of my collection is 1/5 scale. I wish SSC released all of their pieces at 1/4 scale but as we all know, that is not the case.

As soon as I get the Colossus com I will have either his flesh face coverted to the armoured look or fill in the lines on the armoured head. No collector should be forced to correct his face but SSC obviously doesn't care about it's statues being comic accurate. I'm sure I'll be happy with the piece once the face is fixed. I'm not thrilled to have to go to these lengths to fix such an obvious problem. However, I love the X-MEN too much not to have a SSC Colossus in my collection.

I feel the exact same way! My nightcrawler is coming in but I also put Colossus on Flex. In the end, I was too big of an X Men fan for my own good. I couldnt convince myself to spend 300 on him at once so I put him on flex. Im actually looking forward to him now.

The face doesn't ruin the WHOLE thing, otherwise half the glamour/actresses/singers models out there wouldn't be in the damn spotlight so much.

Got this guy today, and I have to say I'm pretty pleased. Sideshow's photographer needs to be replaced. The way they shot and saturated the blue on the update pics is nowhere near as harsh in hand. Two observations, this piece is incredibly lightweight! And the second is I really got the feeling that Sideshow used a different supplier for their packing materials. They have always been consistent, but it all feels cheaper quality. The styrofoam reminds me of what popcultureshock uses, the styro that crumbles when you look at it. Not sure what is going on there.

The swap out head is pretty awesome, but I'm an 80s/90's X-Fan, the curly haired version suits my fancy.
