Nightcrawler Comiquette!!. Link to ORDER NOW in 1st post.

Finally decided to cancel this piece, I held out thinking it may go with the 1/4 scale PFs and comiquettes cos NC is tiny in comics but nah...

Just when this was starting to grow on me and was really put some consideration into buying one of these. Sideshow goes and change the color of him...

The blue is way too bright. Looks like something out of Avatar. I was more impressed with the proto colors. I know they try to improve on what they feel needs fixing, but the color hue is almost too much. Of course, in hand pictures might be better as Sideshow has a way of making great things look like turds.

...However, I do still like this statue. I've been saying to myself ever since I ordered that I'd probably cancel due to financial concerns. However, I think I'm more of a Nightcrawler fan than I previously believed, because I just can't see letting it go... .

Got my notice for the exclusive last night: 23 days.

Still can't bring myself to cancel. Really thought that I was going to.
Watch, since I won't cancel this then the eventual PF will be amazing. However, if I did cancel this then the PF would end up being a disappointment.

I'm not even getting a single one of the other 1/5 X-Men. I just like this one....

I dunno, I just woke up last night and I realized that I don't love/have to have this statue.
I do like it and want it, but I'd rather save up for the what ifs down the road.

I Felt Physically ILL when I saw Nightcrawler, Not Appealing at all. I do like the Character but I get the Vibe that the same person or persons that designed Colossus CQ did this also.
I believe somewhat in a Artists interpretation but for the Money, No Way. JMO

Wow. I'm surprised you compared this with the Colossus com. What don't you like about the piece? I actually think the pose is great and the sculpt is strong. I can understand if you didn't care for the color change but it seems to match the Mystique PF perfectly.

They messed up the Colossus comiquette face badly. I don't feel that way about the Crawler comiquette. I just don't see what it is about this piece that would make you ill.

I agree! Sure the Colossus was a debacle but I do like this sculpt of the blue elf. I think it looks good and I like the changes they made.

I'm taking a gamble on this one.
I ordered the Exclusive when the PO went up last year and I went back and forth for a month or so and then it REALLY grew on me, it was one of the few I was really excited about for this year, then they showed the new paint pics, really hacked me off and I came close several times to canceling. Finally decided yesterday to just get it in hand and know for sure myself if the paint looks good or not, so I have my fingers crossed for this one!

OK, you called me out on this, maybe ILL was a poor choice of words. I feel the face should have been more refined on Nightcrawler, now as far as the pose goes after looking at it again works for the character and I the color is not a issue.

Maybe I was exspecting to much and it fell short of my vision.

This Version was just not my cup of tea, maybe it will grow on me over time or see it in person might change everthing, you never know and Yes I am looking forward to the PF's. It's good to be challenged on ones viewpoints it opens dialog.

Have to see in-hand pics of nightcrawler to make a desicion. So far it doesnt look promising from the new pics posted on SS. I, too, prefer the prototype blue.
