So reading up on this through the google search, looks like it does count calories, it does have a kind of pedometer, and it also has some kind of new "activity measure" that I suppose Nike wants to copyright, and it connects to social media sites so you can show off/compete with your friends/acquaintances? Could be good motivation for folks to get in shape, but man. . .you pay $150+ for the thing, and it just gets all nasty and sweaty, for what? To tell you if you've got a pretty good work out or not? You can't figure that out on your own by timing your activities with $10 watches you can toss in the garbage after a while, counting reps, measuring distance, etc? Power to Nike with it, anyway. Looks like this guy questions its value:

most people don't realize the true motivator in most exercising equipment, programs facilities etc,. is just the act of spending money,
Most people think "well if I spent the money I need to use it" and thats the true motivation behind it.
If people just had any self motivation / control , they could accomplish the same thing for free.
