I feel your pain Bro... I've gained so much weight too. But lately I gained some ground... And I can give you a few tips. First of all, cut out ALL High Fructose Corn Syrup items. It's in damn near everything and contributes to a lot of fat cells in the body. It's in cereal, soda, Ice cream, and in many other items you would never believe. But trust me, you cut that out... and you will lose 5 pounds in NO time. Trust me.

Cut the beer down to 1 a day, possibly 1 every other day. You don't have to give it up altogether, just limit it a bit.

Replace your favorite snacks with healthier alternatives... Almonds, mixed nuts, cheese sticks or Sugar free Jell-O. Cut out bread and potatoes altogether, they are another reason for guts on men and will only hurt your progress. :rock

Thanks for the tips Josh! If I told you how much beer I have had it would make you cringe. Lets just say more than a 6 pack per day.

Try changing your diet. Replacing coke and Snapple and other sugary drinks with water can reduce your caloric intake by hundreds a day (depending on how much you drink now). Eat meat once a week. Stop eating fried foods and limit your snack intake to 1 serving (which is surprisingly small compared to what people would generally eat in one sitting). Also, stop eating fast food. Cooking your own food takes time, but you know exactly what's going into it and it's one more thing to keep you busy when craving a smoke.

The diet change alone will make you feel better and shed that pounds. Add exercise and you're set.

Eating meat only once a week will be hard. It is my favorite. I mostly though drink water or beer. Just too much damn beer. :D

what size of cans? 330ml or 500ml

either way that's crazy, man I drink but only at weekends or parties
american beer is lighter than the european stuff though

LOL! When I joined the Marines I weighed about 120. LOL! My recruiter made me eat a **** load of Bannanas before I weighed in. That seems to work. Or just get older and lasy. :rotfl

I'm crazy lazy, eat only junk food and only drink NesTea Lemon. But i don't gain any weight:confused:

Lots of booze. Lots of video games.

I got games but i don't drink any kind of alcohol.

I don't know Karma! LOL! 12oz cans. At least a dozen a night.

Anyways guys I just bought the gear off of finishline.com. I bought the cheapest pair of Nike's with this feature. I will let you know how I make out.

Brother, you know my situation. I'm right there in it with you.
I think I'm going to join the gym by work.

Sounds like a good idea. I should do something like that, I don't have much muscle, although what's strange is that I eat horribly yet haven't gained any weight in years.

Nah man iTunes just kills me, i installed it for my mrs and it was a big hassle to put music on it, i bought her a creative and the bliss of drop and drag is awesome with basic software

That sucks. I have an Ipod and I never had a problem.

Maybe i didnt know how to use the software properly but when i got her the Zen after her Ipod was stolen it was just so easy man, drop and drag on to the player :)

I got a creative zen vision m 60 gig which does the same also man.

One thing that drove me away from Ipod was the lack of options and capabilities

Its got no radio and doesnt play DIVX or XVID codecs where as the creative i bought does, thats awesome for me considering i just copy paste my docos and media i download from the net straight to it with no converting involved

But each to their own :)

At least for me, it is the first two weeks of dieting and exercise that are the hardest. Once you make it through those you are pretty much in a routine. You just have to make yourself do it. I used to weigh around 320, then got down to 200. I stopped exercising and got lazy and gained most of it back. This year, I finally got back on track(and plan to stay that way) and have lost 70lbs. so far. Once you start losing the weight, it motivates you to keep up what you are doing and not go back to your bad habits.

Post some before and after pics here to get motivated, just a thought.

I used to weight 180 but due to a knee accident I now weight 220, I was prevented from doing what I loved most, skateboarding, but now that I am recuperated I been skating everyday trying to get back.
