Man!!! Now I might be buying 2 Nintendo consoles. I will be getting a Wii for sure, but now I might be placing my DS Lite for a new 3DS just for the new Resident Evil and Zelda games.

I think the 3DS is looking very promising, not sure whether or not I will wait until it comes out or until a variant is made. But I'm sure as hell tempted to pick it up as some sweet games are set to be released on it.

To me this seems like an brand new DS like DS2 instead of a rehaul of the body like the slim and what not right? I mean the old DS can't compete with these graphics...old Ds was putting out maybe 64 quality games or slightly better these look like PS2 games.

The 3DS really is like a DS2 (though Nintendo would never call it that). It's backward compatible with DS and DSi games.

According to Kotaku the 3DS is going to be an extremely capable device. One statement they claim is that it is on par with early Gamecube/Wii games.

All I can say is if they don't make a Virtual Boy collection for this then they have missed the boat. Mario Clash and Wario Land were both great games.

I would honestly buy the whole catalogue of zelda games if they were 3d (Zelda, Zelda2, Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time...well maybe not Zelda2), but this looks amazing

Aren't there better versions of these games on other systems? Not exactly the same games probably, but better.
