Never knew Glass Joe, the weakest of them all, was a french...lollll:duh

I hear now the mystery 14th boxer is............D***** ***G!!

Not sure if I am really digging that choice, but I am happy with the rest of the boxers

edit- this boxer is actually not the 14th boxer...he is an exhibition fighter and not for the title

14 characters doesn't exactly look very deep for a title these days. i mean, how many characters are in a WWE game? 50 or so?

It's pretty easy, even though I lost a few times. The training mode really hurts you, since you can practice on each of the characters and learn their techniques without worrying about additional losses. I've had the game for about an hour and a half, and I'm already up to the third circuit--though
Soda Papinski
kicked my A$$!!! I can see myself having trouble with this circuit.

It's fun, but I really don't know if it's worth the 50 bucks... :monkey2

Today! :rock Well... it shipped yesterday, so your mileage may vary. Damn video games and their "ship dates" instead of "release dates" (especially nintendo)

YESSSS.....

people are way overpaying for nostalgia here. $40 for 14 characters to fight...wow. Should have been a $20 game or been backfilled with dozens of characters.

Perhaps, but Punch Out!! is the single NES game that I go back to play most often. So, I will probably get my money's worth out of it.

same here....this new game is great stuff! and brings back memories and I know alot of people who loved the original as kid....is the game worth $50?? to me....YES!! is it fun? YES! just as fun as the original NES and super punchout :)

Ok, I retract my original statement from a few days ago. The game is definitely worth the money.

Yes, I got through the game and got the belt from Sandman (rather easily), but sweet Raptor Jesus, defending the title is HARD!!!! I got beat by Glass Joe maybe 10 times before I finally beat him (Now I'm beaing beaten by Von Kaiser). Its really demoralizing. the phrase "I lost to Glass Joe" should never be uttered by man... yet I said it multiple times...

:banghead:banghead:banghead

Holy crap! :horror

Yeah, it really showed me how unskilled I am at the game. I mean, I could have went to the practice mode after losing the first time to learn his new patterns right away, but I was so pissed that I just kept rematching him because I couldn't accept that I lost to Glass Joe :lol
