The only exciting news I got out of that was release date, price and the stream kept freezing when Reggie was talking and the faces he froze on looked like he was crapping his pants.

I'm surprised they had Bayonetta 2 as an exclusive, but it doesn't look like a launch title.

Overall, they haven't convinced me--most of their games are crap or games that have already been released on other consoles. They haven't gone into their multiplayer features at all, and the Movies/TV won't matter when the maximum storage space is 32GB---not to mention that the discs can be 25GB which means you're not going to be able to get Wii U games digitally

+there's the price, people aren't going to get the $300 version much, it'll be the $350 version

It really seems like Nintendo doesn't understand the industry anymore.

If this thing flies off shelves this holiday, I'll officially give up trying to figure out gamers. With tax and a game or two, you are looking at over $400 for the more deluxe version. From a non nintendo fan pov, I just can't see this one really selling like the last Wii

There's going to be low-supply so I think it'll probably easily sell out, we won't have a good idea what consumers actually think about it because even if they don't like it much there will probably be enough to sell out very easily.

I would have said that even though it's said to be an exclusive it would come to other consoles, but since Nintendo is publishing then they definitely will keep it exclusive.

It's got some fancy new gimmicks that will appeal to casual gamers. I expect it will sell extremely well. Maybe not Wii well (since it was so revolutionary at its time), but well.

I remember for the longest time people could not find Wii's in the stores. Places would get them and sell them the same day. Within minutes to hours of putting them on shelves.

I can see this being the same way.

This is a perfect starter tablet for some households. This will give you the benefit of surfing the net on the couch and then switching to either watching Netflix or playing a quick game with the family.

This could be huge potentially whether gamers wanna believe it or not.

Well I preordered the deluxe off of gamestop.com, would have went with amazon but they dont have it yet it was expensive though 394 thats with 1 day and tax. I still want to preorder mario wii u but its listed for 99 still for some reason lol. I figured it was better to get a preorder in than if I change my mind I could always cancel but Im looking forward to some of the games it has like the new mario bros and zombie u.

No games interest me so far so I'm waiting. I'm curious to see if it replicate the Wii craze because:

1- Fool me once....
2- Times are different
3- The Wii-U is pricier
4- Cells and Tablets have skyrocketed

Yeah Im scared about the games . The first party games will be amazing for it like zelda and mario, smash brothers , marikart but evrything else seems just like a port. If nintendo can get more exclusives like zombie u I think it will do great. I wish pikmin 3 was a launch game but prob wont be out till spring.

My only grip (which to me looks like) The Basic only comes in White and the Premium only comes in Black?? What if I want the Premium, but want it in white?
