Be wary of Nintendoland. If you want to play with others, you're going to need a Wii motion plus controller if you don't have one already. The Zelda and Metroid mini games won't take just a standard Wii mote. :monkey1

Damn, Zombi U is freaking hard!

All I have is the paddle as a weapon because the 9mm handgun really sucks.

Anyone here finish this game yet or can tell me the location of a better weapon?

You find the Carbine on the way to buckingham palace. That's within the first couple hours.

And yeah, the game is hard. A zombie lunged and bit me, killing my character instantly. This was about 6 hours in, when I had leveled up my stats quite a bit, only to lose it all when i was placed into a new character.

I went ahead and picked one up today. My town didn't get many of these, so when I saw one just sitting on the shelf a TRU, I caved. I may not play it alot, but I'm just a sucker for new hardware.

I finally got the hang of it.
Got the carbine and once you're in Buckingham Palace, there's also the crossbow.

I've actually become quite proficient in switching off between the cricket bat and crossbow.

This game rocks if you enjoy going off the main path and enjoy searching every nook and cranny like me... simply because the game rewards you for doing it. :rock

Got it up and running. Took about 45 minutes to download the update. Another 10 to install it. Popped a game in and it took about 15 minutes to download the whatever it was and install it. Nothing compared to wha some day one guys dealt with, but cripes.

Anyways, I like it. The gamepad feels weird at first, but it's well designed and started to get a feel for it. The hardest though for me though is getting use to the buttons being below the right stick. Funny how awkward that feels. Love the charging thingy. Nicely done there. Playing a console game on a gamepad is trippy too. I put on some headphones and played for a while with just the pad and it performed perfectly. It's not hd, but looks pretty good really. So far, I dig it. Just need some interesting exclusives and I think this thing has real potential.

that absolutely sucks.

jeez sounds like buyers of the original wii are still getting kicked in the nuts by the need for an updated controller. never again will I buy a microsoft (hardware CRAPPY), nintendo (hardware not perfected and updated several times), or sony console (with the PS3 the "memory card adapter" cheesed me off) at launch day .

This is the first Nintendo home console I have not purchased day one since the NES (I had to save for that). Always was a Nintendo fanboy but to be honest they sort of lost me with the Wii. I stuck with them with the Gamecube and defended that system as it really was quality hardware and they still made great games. But the Wii really lost me. Too many games with broken controls and Nintendo always was known for their game play. I almost feel bad not purchasing a WiiU, but I also know it would just sit and collect dust once I was done playing Mario. I'll wait for Zelda, Metroid and hopefully a new Kid Icarus.

No doubt those titles are coming at some point or another, and most likely with standard controls. I don't mind having the touchscreen used for those games. For games like Zelda, it actually works really well, like in Zelda OoT 3DS where the bottom screen is used for the quick-acess inventory.

I haven't missed a Nintendo launch after the NES, But the Wii U was the one that I was admittedly least hyped about. But I am glad I have one.

I got bitten with the Wii, got Bitten with the 3DS. Twice bitten, thrice shy. No way will i ever be purchasing a WiiU. Need more than a gimmick controller to make me buy shovelware.

Other thing is, im not a Mario or Zelda fan. So I need to see something unique and some franchises WiiU specific before I even contemplate laying money down for a console which is basically the same as the current HD gen.

I just think buyers need to be honest in what they want in a console. I thought the 3DS was the strongest handheld release yet. Having street pass, nintendo video, swap notes and mii maker built into the 3DS made for some fun times. I am still playing find mii and have my 3ds with me all the time for street pass!

Got talked into buying the system last night. My gf loves Mario and had me get her the Wii U for her Christmas present. She playing it and keeping herself occupied so far.

I tried that when i first got 3DS for a few days in a row and quickly realized i was the only one with a 3DS around... i might have to try this again, then again i dont ever play it and its laying somewhere with the battery dead :(

Consider yourselves lucky.
I don't believe there are anymore Deluxe versions of the Wii U out here.

Shopping malls are the best place to grab a street pass. I always get at least 1 or 2.
