Off the top of my head, some games I'm excited for this year:

Lego City Undercover
Pikmin 3
Game & Wario
The Wonderful 101
Rayman Legends
90s Arcade Racer
Resident Evil Revelations
Wind Waker HD
Super Smash Bros.
Watch Dogs

If none of those tickle your fancy, I think you bought the wrong system.

Several of those aren't coming out this year, it's also kinda hard to get excited about some re-releases

While I did say dry that doesn't mean there isn't anything coming that I don't want to play. I do want Pikmin 3 but I'm not sure it's going to be out this year, Resident Evil is a re-release as well as Wind Waker, and I doubt Smash Bros. will be out this year either as we won't see anything till E3.

So until Pikmin and Smash Bros get concrete release dates, it's pretty dry to me since the other games you mentioned have no interest to me.

Which ones? The only I know of that hasn't been given an official release of 2013 is Smash Bros.

Pikmin 3 doesn't have a release date. No chance of Smash Bros coming out in 2013 either, it was announced just before the release of Wii U and they said they hadn't even started it then.

I also highly doubt Watch_Dogs will come out this year either

Pikimin 3 was a launch window title that now has an official release date of Q2. If it gets pushed to 2014, I'll eat my Sideshow collection.

Well, they can easily announce it for a quick release, but it's a bit discouraging that it was originally supposed to be out by now and currently doesn't have a release date.

Anyone getting Monster Hunter? It seems to be awesome and the best in the series so far.

I picked it up. Only played about an hour so far. I don't have much experience with this series, but I hear it's super grindy and time consuming. That's not usually my thing, but it does look fun from a gameplay perspective.

Lego City was sold out at my local Target! :(

Lego City has had shipping issues. Most stores won't have their stock until today or this weekend.

I tried the demo and didn't like it. I kept attacking the boss for around 15 minutes and finally just quit trying. I heard they die eventually but I lost interest before it died.

Eidos Montreal didn't mess around when it came to fixing one of the most widely criticized aspects of Deus Ex: Human Revolution in the upcoming Wii U Director's Cut.

"The boss fights are now as they should have been," Emile Pedneault, game designer on the Director's Cut told us today at PAX East. "We took them and completely rebuilt them. We couldn't change [the boss' character] model and the way they need to die because of the story telling, but we changed the level layout. We tweaked their AI and we've added tons of ways to deal with them."

He continued, "You can deal with a boss fight in a stealth way, you can deal with a boss fight in a hacking way. We even have for each boss fight a way to kill them without firing a single bullet."

Pedneault showed us the first boss fight, pointing out all the different ways that it could now be completed using other skills beyond "throw every grenade in your inventory and just keep shooting." There are several corridors now for stealth attacks and turrets for hacking, along with other goodies for players to discover.

The boss fights were widely criticized when Deus Ex: Human Revolution originally launched, with Eidos Montreal eventually admitting it farmed out that portion of the game to an outside developer. Deus Ex DLC "The Missing Link," bundled with the Wii U version, designed in-house at Eidos Montreal gave a far more flexible experience.

Aliens: Colonial Marines for the Wii U is scheduled to launch by the end of the month, but Gearbox Software is not sure if the game will make it or not.

"We'll see," CEO Randy Pitchford told GameSpot today.

"That's not our call. I think [developer Demiurge Studios] did amazing work. I think it's really cool, but Sega's got to figure that out," he added. "We're doing the best we can."

Gearbox did not have a direct hand in developing Aliens: Colonial Marines for the Wii U, but Pitchford reportedly sees the game "regularly."

Sega and Demiurge have two times declined to comment on the status of Aliens: Colonial Marines for the Wii U. Sega told GameSpot today, "No news."

The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions of the game were met by a cold critical reception at launch in February, though it was the month's sixth-best-selling title in the United States during that month, according to NPD data.

I decided what wii games I should get while I wait for wii u signature titles. They are super mario galaxy 2 and sonic colors. I will get super paper mario there after, and might wait it out for zelda, mario kart on the wii u.

the system is decent in my opinion .. with some nice ports titles which i tried for the first time on the Wii U

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

i was amazed with Trine 2 : Drector's cut graphics/visuals .

Picked up the last copy of both Lego City Undercover and Need For Speed at Best Buy after going to a Target that said they had LCU in stock but didn't. Got Best Buy to match Target's deal and grabbed a free game out of the deal.

I like Batman Armored Edition, but I dislike that there's not an option to use the Pro Controller instead of the Pad. I know the Pad has the built in maps and gimmicks, but it's hard for me to play this type of game with it.
