so the Wii points is used to download games from prior Nintendo consoles? Is that the only way you can play the older console games?

Yes. Haven't done it yet, just having too much fun with Zelda and Wii Sports.

I can't stop playing Wii Sports or Zelda. Probably played almost 20 hours worth of Wii this weekend. And loved every second of it.

Thats becasue you had to work, imagine what that number would be if you had not worked.

Can't find one anywhere, and not willing to camp out overnight. I suppose I'm not dedicated enough. I've got MonkeyBall though, and a second set of controllers. Had to hide the game, because my son kept wanting to watch the "movie". He was putting it together in a stack with his copy of Curious George.

These systems really aren't that hard to score for those looking for one. I've bought several, and have yet to "camp" for any of them. (That includes the Wii and PS3).

A certain national chain will have TONS of Wii's available this Sunday morning (Dec. 3). You just have to be smarter than the others looking for one, and know where to go.

Probably the best idea, looking at recent prices - you would always be able to get one for cheaper later.

Figure it costs $540 after tax, then take out Ebay/paypal fees and you are only making about $90 on it.

The Wii systems are actually selling for about $400 so you make about the same selling one of those.

Wii Sports has 4 four player games, and Super Monkey Ball is probably the best. Red Steel can do 4 way multi-player. I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I have and have played and they are all great.

Patience is definitely the key. We end up at the local Walmart frequently and each trip I check the case for Wii's. Well Monday my persistence paid off, they had 3. 1 of which came home with me along with a copy of Zelda and Cars to keep the peace with the kids.

Unfortunately haven't been able to devote as much time as I would like, but still been having a blast and hopefully that will change this weekend. IMO, the Wii is definitely worth the patience to pick one up.

Now that my patience has paid off with a PS3, the Wii is next on my list. I think I will find one before Christmas if I keep looking. I keep reading reviews that call the new Zelda one of the greatest video games of all time on any console.

Zelda is so awesome and I would so far agree that it is one of the greatest games ever on any system. If I did not have to share the main TV I would not put it down.

Yes sir, I agree. I think Mario Galaxy will give it a run for it's money, but certainly amazing!

Ocarina WAS my all-time favorite game. I've played and beat it so many times and so many ways. I never thought a game could come along and blow me away like Twilight Princess. But I'm so happy to say that Ocarina is now my second favorite game of all time.

Delayed gratification Trust me, it's well worth the wait.

I didn't get to play any last night so I'm dying at work today. Only 5 more hours until I can kick some Hyrule ass!
