Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

After seeing all these cool McClane customs I went and redid the blood on mine. The flash made it redder than it was. I used the fake hallowe'en blood mixed with some red and navy acrylic paint to give it a little opacity. In person it looks like real blood. Still not 100% happy with the way the shirt turned out may have to start with a new shirt instead of trying to paint over the old one.

Looks great -- I love the tank top you used, Thainer. That the Bruce Lee singlet?

Yes it is. They are very nice.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Anyone tried to "cut" or trim the sculpt down along the natural line of the hairline? I see a slight line that seems almost like you could dremel/trim the hairline/jawline a bit more...

Bottom red line shows the line I'm talking about in the top pics...

It may be too much to take off, not sure.

Just curious if besides dremeling out the sculpt to sit on the neck better if anyone tried this as well...

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

I did that and I think it looks lots better

Can you put up some pics of your from the side? I want to see what it looks like with that adjustment.

Meanwhile....

I finally got a dremel. Should have a long time ago. Beautiful machine.

Here's the head PRE to POST dremeling:

A little finessing to get it to sit on the neck right...

This is where Cadaver's pics would help me because it looks a little dangerous to take off all that "flesh" to the hairline and follow the line through along the jaw.

And here's PRE and POST dremel again, how it sits without the slight 'bow' in the neck. Subtle, but the head also sits a bit lower to:

I hope these pics help others who may give a McClane a go.

Right now the head is just sitting on the rubber neck without the inner adaptor -- which I still need to dremel down -- but I'm not certain I even need it at this point really. I did not trim or cut the neck down either. Didn't have to.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Looks good to me, if you take off too much he might look like his head is sinking into his neck.
Give it a paint up and take it from there would be my advice;)

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Thanks for the advice....as McClane would say.

Seriously though, maybe it's good enough and I'm just being ____ at this point.... new toy and all. Once it's painted I don't want to touch it so figured I'd better get it perfect while it's at this stage.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

I hope to have mine finished soon. Just a few questions. Does anyone have tips on weathering him? I want to make him a little dirty. Would watered down chalk pastels work? I also would like a sticker for his base. I know there is a member on here that makes them. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks. I'll post the finished pics soon.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

I used chalk pastels (dry) on mine as well as drybrushing acrylic paint on him.And the Member who makes the bases is Evilface.
