I think that group is absolutely right in that McD uses shady tactics to get kids "addicted" to fast food at an early age. But IMO, the parents should be responsible for keeping their kids eating habits in check. Not McDonalds.

I think we need a new political action group ...

The good old days...

I love how the trend is parent everyone else instead of focusing on your own. "Hey I don't want my kids to eat McDonalds because it could be making them fat, I guess I better stop everyone else from eating it too!" Literally if everyone were allowed to just make their own decisions about what they wanted to eat, drink, inhale, ingest and focus on them instead of spearheading crusades every five seconds this country would be a much more mellow place.

Dude ... you're signature banners alone make this place worth coming to. Who's the chick?

McDonalds uses shady tactics to get kids "addicted" to fast food at an early age!? How? Are they personally shoving it down the throats of these kids? It's these kids parents that are allowing them to eat fast food to the point that it becomes a problem.

Parents are in charge. Not kids. Kinda mind boggling how so many parents are completely pussified and can't find the nerve/backbone to say (god forbid) NO to their children. It's pathetic.

sometimes I wanna B! slap parents that say please to their kids when they want the little monsters to do somethin'

Don't take your kid to McDonalds then. It's your choice.

I hate country and rap music, so I'm pretty sure I can sue and get them to stop making and airing it.

I'll usually say 'please' to my kids on the first request (please get Daddy a Coke, hon?). It helps teach the kids how to be polite. But, I'm rarely so nice the second time around. There are some "requests" which are more forceful even the first time around, and we don't tolerate acting up in public (even from my 2-year-old son).

If you're hard on them when they're 2 and 5 ... you won't have to bail them out of jail when they're 12 and 15.

This. Gotta teach the young'uns manners somehow.

I don't think ink was talking about stuff like that.

I've seen some parents with their kids going buck wild and instead of screaming at them to stop/picking up their unconscious bodies after a Kung fu chop to the esophagus they resort to begging and pleading for their child to "please" stop.

And it's pathetic.

What you're talking about SD is completely different.
