He tried to meatfist Bane twice and somehow magically sloppily wins the second time. I wouldn't even call it a win, he just subdued him.

His tactics sure didn't look much different to me. Approach from the front, throw punches and elbows. He did all that in the first fight :dunno

Remember in Days of Thunder when Tom Cruise kept going to the wall against Cary Elwes and Elwes slammed him into the wall each time? Then Cruise made like he was going to do the same thing and Elwes cockily moved toward the wall only to be duped by Cruise when he took the INSIDE. Bam!

That's what Wayne did. "No, I came here to stop you," was step 1 of making Bane think he was the same old idiot. Step 2 was pretend to flail wildly like he did in the sewers and then WHAMMO, slice the tubes. :D

TDKR should have ended with Bruce and Alfred joyously racing each other on foot in Italy before being freeze framed as the credits roll.

Sounds plausible but I don't think the film conveyed that very well if it was the intention. Y'know if you have to rationalise these things after the fact....

And after the 'back-break' injury at that. He should have been even more disadvantaged the second time if anything.

Seeing how this "Doctor" in that run down prison did fix Wayne's back to perfection. He would be dealing with nerve issues that take a LONG time to recover and he would never be 100% ever again.

TDKR was awesome!

Key word, normal. You're dealing with a bunch of comic book nerds here.

What about the ones who have never read the comics, like me? :dunno

TDKR SUX!! :nana:

In all seriousness, if you're not a hardcore Batman fan who has never watched Keaton's Batman or even better, Batman the Animated Series, then I think you would enjoy TDKR.
