No, it seemed like, at certain times, they tried to make them more "choreographed," and it showed. The quick shots in Begins were awesome, and I loved that.

I guess I'd have to watch them again. I'm probably due a rewatch anyway. Of all the Batman films actually.

What was so epic about the begins train scene?

Maybe he's thinking in terms of the greater pathos of Batman and Ra'as (and Neeson is always brilliant IMO) but as far as excitement levels and technical achievement I'd say the Spidey 2 sequence wins easily.

Me either. I just wanted to know what he thought was so cool about it because i cant find one thing to compare to the spidey train fight.

Batman Begins is a great film, with some of the worst action sequences ever film and edited in a superhero movie. But thankfully everything else is strong enough. Other wise....yeesh.

TDKR's ....
Was 1 of the Worse Idea's for a Batman Movie, or rather His Character..., like Ever. Batman..., Would Never Give Up Being Batman ..., Because Bruce is Not Batman ..., Batman is Bruce. The Film Totally Contridicted what Nolan was trying to Do in DK ... AND was pretty apparent to me, that The Death Of Ledger, and Not being able to roll with the Joker for Part 3, ... Screwed Him Over.

When did i say it was epic?

I said it was better than the spiderman one in my opinion and I think it is. Neither of them are great though really

Spiderman one was pretty cool at the time sure but it isn't great. In fact this is the first time i've heard anyone say it was great :dunno

:exactly:

Such a terrible conclusion to the franchise.

True. I felt that tdk was a gritty take and that the stuff that went in that movie you could find in any batman comic book. The stuff with two face and joker was very good and then we get to bane. ......... In tdkr I just felt it was a mediocre movie but that's just me. I also find Keaton batman to be better than bale and people hate that lol.

I do as well, he had the best demeanor in the suit, and a believable voice.

Agreed. I watched returns not to long ago and loved how he acted and sounded while in the suit. Now people think batman has the voice of a dying grandmother.

It has always been the most talked-about sequence of what is almost universally regarded as the best of the Raimi Spiderman films. I'm surprised you weren't aware of its popularity. Tremendously executed and exciting action, not just then, now still. But anyway, to each his own.

I feel like Keaton was the better Batman but I liked Bale's Bruce Wayne more than Keaton's.

Sigh- a few people on here don't like Nolan's Batman...that is what i have learned so far..

Keaton was marvelous as Bats, so was Bale- different takes on same character in totally different films.
I remember when BR came out it was trashed by alot of people as just "not Batman". Now it's held in high esteem...time changes opinions 180 degrees on many films

Some movies take awhile to truly hit home with people. Like the Shining.
