I certainly don't want my post to be mis-construed for rable-rousing or rebelliousness.
I have been welcomed to the forum with open arms by the Darklord himself and several other veterans...and many thanks for doing so.

I have been a member of other fraternities and understand that respect and cred is something that is earned...and look forward to doing so.

I have posted on several threads with what I believe to be insightful and light-hearted comments, with the intention to further discussion and debate on a hobby that I passionately have enjoyed way before ever becoming an active member of the forum.

I have posted on quite a few threads...that were quite busy, but now seem to have fallen silent after being the last post.

I just want to know what other new-comers experiences have been like on the forum.

My apologies are exteded to everyone if this post seems narcissistic. Narcissism is only one of my mental disorders. The other being my OCD that has fueled my statue collecting.

Please remember...everyone was new once.

The funniest thing would be if no one were to respond to this. :rotfl
Then you would know that it's just you. :monkey1
I think the threads in this forum just go in fits and starts. I wouldn't read too much into it. :peace

Yeah...your're probably right. I should have added "paranoid delusional" to my list of mental maladies.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't because I smelled funny. After every shower I dry myself with the foam sheets that my statues were wrapped in.

:goodpost::lol

Paul, You'll find that initially you may be unintentionally ignored from time to time because you're a noob, but this is nothing personal... I know that when reading through a thread I tend to gravitate to the posts from members that I regularly socialize with. In turn, when I was a noob I found that very few of my comments were quoted by others. My advice is to respond to other members by quoting their posts. You'll find that it's a pretty good way to build a rapport with members that have similar interests. Also, start a collection thread for other members to see what you collect.

Well I guess I don't need a counsellor to prove that I'm narcissistic...just noticed that I started six sentences in my post with "I".
Things are hard for me this time of year. It's the same date 39 years ago that my parents abandoned me at K-Mart.

All joking aside, thanks for the advice. Once I figure out how to post pics I will definately share my collection.

The boards in general have been quiet of late, don't take it to heart. Just ignore the namecallers who put down the new members with insults and snarky comments.

A post count doesn't meant anything really, we're all Marvel brothers here and a belated welcome to the boards! :duff
