Obi-Wan Kenobi Legendary Scale Figure

This might be another case where SS official pics don't look as good as the actual product. I have the Obi LSB, and that one looked way off on their site, but I love mine. In person it's a great likeness. Guess we'll see.

Yeah, I remember thinking that one looked horrible at first. But the in-hand was quite good.

I originally wanted to get this piece, but I've been so disappointed in every way imaginable. I really wanted a jedi in the legendary scale, and it looks like old ben will be all we're getting so I was ok settling for the old man with less than stellar looking robes. But then they give him this horrible hunched over pose while barely holding up his lightsaber. He looks weak and uninteresting. As if he's hunched over in deep thought trying to remember if he took his back pain medication for the day.

And that face. Oh my god what happened? It looked pretty good in the SDCC pics, but needed some work. Now it looks exponentially worse.

Is anyone else thinking the same or am I overreacting?

Im with you. I first saw this at SDCC 2011! I went to a freaks dinner and remember SS reps bragging about how they were pushing the limits with a kind of skin technology for him. I guess they just gave up. Looks like a whole lot of polystone to me. Personally, I think this looks awful and certainly not 2k. Having a few 1/4 Jedi's in my collection I'm just imagining trying to get his robes looking good. I would have to use the wife's curtain steamer

The factories couldn't replicate it consistently. A shame as it looked very promising.
