This is a fantastic 21 minutes video featuring behind the scenes look at creating the world of Oblivion. I love the fact that they didn't go for a green screen effect for the environment around the sky tower, but instead did it with a more innovative approach. And it's great to see that they went to so many real locations to shoot the film.

Going tonight to see this! I'll let you know how I Feel!
I know I'm gonna love it. Good visuals, good sci-fi. Even if it's familiar material. I happen to like that familiar material so...

Holy Cow!! I just saw it tonight!!
WoW!! WoW!!! Wow!!!
This movie was absolutely fantastic!!
THIS IS HOW Sci-Fi is done!!
Loved it!!
9/10 for me! :rock!

:exactly::clap:yess::goodpost:

Absolutely agree with you! Now, if only someone would make a 1/6th figure of Jack...(fingers crossed).

So my friend scores sneek preview IMAX Tickets, i saw the film a few days ago, and yes its awesome!!! Its visually stunning, everyshot is clean, flawless and beautiful. the music is amazing!!! I must have the score, cant say enough good things about the music!

This movie reminds me of classic scifi! and not cheap scifi, it has elements of a twilight zone ep but its so well done, lots of heart, great action, lots of twists, just a very well done movie that i think you should check out if you like scifi! BRAVO TO THE FILMMAKERS!!!

And yes, We need a Jack Figure, a replice 1:1 scale rifle and replica jacket!!! I WANT TO BE JACK FOR COMIC-CON!!!

Saw it last night
As good as Tron
Enjoyed it and yes the music is great

I LOVED this movie.
I don't care if I've seen some of the ideas before, or the plot and twists are predictable etc.
I love how it was put together. The sound, visuals, music were all great.

Tom Cruise was solid as well.

I loved that ship, home base, and the drones. They were bad A S S!!!

I just love this kind of mindless sci-fi.
Easy buy for me on blu ray!

Spoiler*******

Alert!!!!

Saw the movie it was good but not great.
So at the end of the movie was that really Tom cruise? I thought he died blowing up the computer. Or a clone of him again?

Use a spoiler tag! That will ruin it for others!

Music was pretty B@DA$$ though right!? For his 2nd film id say this Joe guys on a pretty good roll.

I suppose. I'll be honest, the music didn't really stand out as much to me. But then again, I have no idea who M83 is. I don't listen to music. Only soundtracks. But I have heard Daft Punk many times before. So I had in my head what I expected, but was pleased what with what I got.

To be honest, I don't know how I feel about this movie. It's not like Evil Dead where I want to love it, so i'm not TOO conflicted.

I just think the problem with this movie, fundamentally is...it feels kinda pointless. I never really felt the stakes. Sure, wiping out humanity IS bad....but show me why. Show me why I should care, outside of basic empathy. It also had a lot of weird little problems that made me go..."Wait....wha? Huh? Can you try to explain that but not make it sound so silly?"

I wanted to enjoy it. And I did, for a long time. Until the middle act. But it sorta redeemed itself with the last act. It wasn't original, but it was a lot more interesting then the story that came before it.

Even if it was Independence Day meets 2001.

Eh. I'm glad there's a big budget Sci-Fi film out there...but I wish it was as intelligent as District 9 was. As much as I don't need a message or a point with every movie...I felt like there should've been one here. It was a Sci-Fi film that acted like it had a purpose, but didn't. Kinda like Prometheus. And that was disappointing.

Direction, and visuals were solid though. And they ALMOST made the film work just on that level. Until the story stuff started to kick in. I enjoyed the pace too. It was relaxing. And interesting.

i still hate the ending. i wished it panned out like it supposed to according to plan and gave it that shakespearean tragedy at the end.

*jack's life is awesome....field work then come home for a shag. repeat that shat in x years. i see how conflicted he was on the revelation. lolz

Yeah, that ending was really weak. The whole time I thought...

"WHAT THE ****! THERE ISN'T ENOUGH ROOM HERE FOR YOU FREELOADERS!! GET OUT!"

:lol

I really liked this film...I was thinking about Tron,Wall-E,POTA,2001's Hal the computer,Thx,Logans Run, Terminator, I am Legend, even Matrix...all these and more came to mind....Even thoughts of Galactus(The destroyer of worlds:wink1:)came up...even vger from ST the motion picture or the ST Borg cube or ST 4 and ID4...It was a great film and tragic story if you think about it...I do like the fact there were explainations and closure...all done in a very well done manner...Music was like Tron Legacy's...kick-a ss...I didnt think the ending was so bad at all...very nice seeing a good sci fi flick again reminding me of the older films from the 60's and 70s...Kudos to the filmakers...I definetely could see Heston playing Harper...The scenery was phenomenal including of course the special effects....I thought this also was one of the Loudest films I ever saw volume wise...really loud soundtrack
