I was thinking about how the figure should/could look...

I would like to see him with his black coat (I'm not sure if he's ever depicted without it in the film?)
It would also be cool if they included his hat. He only wears it at the poker game, I think, but it looked cool. Maybe the hat could be sculpted on a second head, since he has pretty large hair. A removable hat would look funny and to big, I think.

As for accessories, I would say his bo-staff and a deck of cards. We know Hot Toys makes fine decks of cards, just look at the ones that came with their Jokers.

That's a pretty cool idea!

I was already thinking of possible ways to get the cards glued (or whatever) to a very thin iron wire which could be spiraled, so it looks like the shot in the movie from above him, where he throws the cards in the air. I believe it's right before he launches them at Logan.

But your idea is better I think, it would be more of a weapon then, and lets face it, that's how he uses his cards

Something tells me though if we saw Gambit in this line it'd be just like the Joker were you'd have card included.

I personally don't see Hot Toys making more than Wolverine and Sabretooth from this movie. Those are the two guarantee sellers....past that I don't think a Gambit or anyone else is justifiable.

The only other figure I could see them making is Deadpool (2 in 1 would be the only way), but I'm not so sure about that either.

But I could be wrong, we'll see.

I could see them offering Deadpool since he was the big end villain as well as Sabretooth and Wolverine but I think it'll be Deadpool from the end sequences and not Wade Wilson. The only thing stopping the 2 in 1 is the markings on the body, everything else could be worked around, even with the shirt on you'd see them on his arms.

Seeing how much fun they have with their military line I would imagine that a Sabretooth and Wolverine in Vietnam Military gear (The execution scene) would be a possibility.

Depends how literal they are to the look, if they are specifically offering the leather jacket version then no because he had Adamantium claws at that point if they are just going full Wolverine then probably because you could remove the jacket and any flannel shirt would work to symbolize the bar scene.

I hope so. I would not want rooted chest hair if the hair on his head (his hairdo) was sculpted -- which is the way I'm sure it'll turn out.

Possibly. I think Wolverine is a perfect candidate for the DX line.

Actually while its not the most loved version I would say that Deadpool is the most perfect candidate for the MMSDX treatment. Different shirts from the first two missions including bullet proof vest, katanas, scabbards, two heads (Wade and Deadpool), bandaged guantlets that fit over the forearm, katana blades that slip into the bandages, two pairs of pants (the khaki'd mission pants and red Weapon XI pants), boots, feet (They are doing actual feet with ankles in the Goemon line), muscle body with interchangable arms one with the markings and a set without for the Wade look.

Yeah, Wade/Deadpool would be the perfect DX. I just meant Wolverine would be a smart choice for DX in the terms of sales. But I am confusing the hell out of myself thinking about DX and regular HT figure......
