Not trying to toot my own horn, but I’m glad I bumped this thread back up. With a majority of people’s old Photobucket pics gone and lack of any non-stock photos on Google, I had no idea all of you guys had awesome looking Boushh’s this whole time

I'm glad too. I have to get back to fixing mine up.

BTW there's Chrome extension that fixes the Photobucket problem.

The helmets are diecast.

them are the one`s I have. I had to cut out the intersection of the helmet underneath so the SS neck plug would fit inside the helmet.

Ok so I have redone my Leia Boushh. I swapped the body from the SS body that I modified and shortened to a HT black widow body. Works pretty good. The reason I did is because I wanted to create a better Leia sculpt from the AC Play Princess.

I cut off the pony tail and shaved the hair down a bit then added sculpy and formed as close as I could to what her boushh hair looks like. I think it works pretty well. Much better articulation and a better looking sculpt. Even though they are the same sculpt the hair makes them look completely different.

The outfit was easy enough to swap out but the sleeves in the hands were a pain in the a$$. I had to unstitch the wrists to get the thumbs out of the tiny holes in the sleeves. Popped out the wrists and had to widen the glove holes to pop them on the wrist pegs.

For some strange reason the SS boots have become sticky. Like the outer coating of paint sealant is breaking down. Very strange.

I still have to figure out how I’ll get the helmet on to display.

Sorry for digging up a year old post, freaks. I've just managed to pick this figure up for about £40 which is great... but has a couple of issues. Most of which I can fix, but unfortunately one of the boxes from the front of the harness that goes over the chest armour is missing. Anybody have a spare of even a full harness they can let go? I've checked the usual places but no luck. I may ned to go down the route of making a mould and copying the existing one but I thought I'd give here a go first. Cheers.

After a bit of a faff I managed to track down a new harness with both boxes in place and I've tried my hand at customising it. Repainted chunks of the helmet and added weathering, painted the cartridges in the harness, added weathering to various other elements and dirtied up the legs. I also had to repair the staff as it had been broken and glued back together wonky. I need to give it another once over and seal it. added the armour upgrade and tried to add even the slightest amount of weathering to it. I've also weathered up the tanks on the back and and currently trying to replace the missing bar that goes between them with a thin piece of metal rod. Overall I'm really happy with how it looks now. Totalling out at around £80 so can't complain.

With the helmet on it looks great and will compliment the new Jabba piece. But yea the face sculpt is not that flash is it?
Seriously why doesn't SS or Hot Toys release a new version?

Cheers. I knew I was going to have to have a play about with it so getting it for £40 was a no brainer. It's not perfect but for my first time customising and painting part of a figure I'm happy with it.

Passed on one last year - good price too. The seller was also throwing in the custom chest armor. Thinking back I should have swooped on it. Holding out for the possible HT version is tough!

Yeah I know they've released or teased a bunch of different Leias so far, but I don't really see them making this one given the brief appearance it makes. And the fact there are already a couple more iconic looks from that movie in Slave Leia and Endor Leia.

I have a feeling, especially since her passing, HT will produce all Leia’s at some time or another. Could be 5yrs from now. But yeah to have one now I shoulda picked her up when I had the chance.

I swapped mine to a HT black widow AOU body. Sculpted the hair myself from the extra prisoner Leia kit.
