Im crossing my fingers for a Sly body,if i say im satisfied with the Dutch body,that´s what we will be getting.After all the nitpicking over at the TDK threads HT seem to listen.

They do listen, but they don't depart from standardization either. Did they listen to gripes about the TrueType, yep, we're getting one now with more accurrate shoulder appearance, but that's a standard that'll be used over and over again. The tester will be the rumored DX Batman, if HT actually tools a body specifically to make the proportions of that figure look right, then I think we've got a chance of a Sly-centric body. If it's on a typical body and they use the suit part to make it look better, then I'd say Rambo 4 is likely on the Dutch body, if we get Rambo 4. As for Rocky Balboa, no, the Dutch body would not work unless it was Rocky in his jogging suit where you couldn't tell what's underneath, but we may not be getting Rocky Balboa, there's a number of Rocky figures we could get as only 2 movies have been represented, and Rocky 1 and 2 could be made on the previous Rocky body just fine.

That's key too, if it's Rocky Balboa and Rambo 4, we've got chances of a special body, but if it's just Rambo 4 as far as old Sly figures, I think that makes rehash of a body almost certain.

Damn you guys! I just woke up thinking there was something important here after days of nothing

I'm going back to sleep ............................... just kidding. I agree that the body shown will work for Rambo but not Rocky. IF they do consider making us Rocky 6 then we will see a new rubber body and of course that same body will be used for Rambo 4.

I hope we at least hear something soon.

wasn't rocky kinda chunkier in one and two? definitely less toned than 3 and 4. so while the size might be right, i think the definition might look a little funny.

anyway, for rocky 1 i'd be happy if it was on a regular truetype - i'd display it with jogging suit anyway. others might not - but that for me is the most iconic look for rocky. and with 2 in fight mode already it'd make a nice change. on a muscle body you wouldn't be able to do the "gonna fly now" victory dance.

Yes, in Rocky 1 and 2, sly kept his build more realistic, which is why even though he got super ripped for Rocky Balboa, he peaked then let some of that fade to get to the look in the film. Real boxers don't get ripped like he was in Rocky 3 and 4 and he commented on how that and shirtless Rambo were sort of ego trips of his showing off and whatever which is why Rocky Balboa was less toned than Sly is capable of being and Rambo 4 wore a shirt always.

Yeah, the Rocky 3/4 body is more defined than right for Rocky 1 and 2, but it's doable, certainly too toned for Rocky Balboa though. Again, I seek the best, but I think embracing that things won't always look spot on is just something you have to do with figures. If you really want a perfect Rocky Balboa piece, getting Edinho Maga's statue if you can is the best route for that. Same with Rambo 4.

the excisting Rubber body definitely works for Rocky 1 and 2,Rocky 3 and 4 bodies are tanned which he was in the movies while he was not as near as tanned in Rocky 1 and 2 and the muscles doesn´t show as well.

You know how it works in real life,if you lie in the sun for half an hour you get a tan and your muscles shows better,use the 3 and 4 bodies for Rocky 1 and 2 with more pale skin so he doesn´t look as ripped as the Rocky 3 and 4 figures.

They can make a body specially for Hellboy, so why not for something as great as Rocky and Rambo?

They go out of the way sometimes, but typically when it's a figure that simply wouldn't work without it's own unique body. Hellboy, at least his arms, and not sure about the tattoo stuff, requires non-standard, and Davy Jones required a unique body. They do unique when they want to do a figure and it requires a unique body, bur Rocky and Rambo can work on existing bodies, even if they're not dead accurrate, they can work, so there's less motive for HT to make special ones.

I can't wait to get this. I wanna see pics already If they do a Rocky 6 I don't know if I'll make him in his restaraunt suit or boxing gear if we have the option. Cause my Legenday scale bust is in his boxing gear so I might wanna do a different look for the 1/6 figure

There are several threads scattered everywhere about the figures in this line, and since it seems to keep growing, I figured I'd start a thread to consolidate discussion about these awesome figures. To get things rolling, here are some photos I took tonight, anxiously awaiting my Rambo 3 figure.

Further proof the Dutch body would work fine for Rambo 4. It's shorter than Rambo 3 and just barely beefier, as it should look.

No it wouldn't, Rambo's much older in RAMBO, people shrink, so it would look natural I think as it's not that significant a difference, a few inches really.

Nah man you guys have it all wrong, in real life Sylvestor Stallone is 5'7" but in the movies he's "normal" height. Hot Toys never made a "Stallone" figure, they made Rocky and Rambo figures.

Go watch the movies and tell me where Sly looks 5'7" Its movie tricks, Clubber, Apollo, Trautman, etc, etc .............. go check it out.

yeah, but I KNOW he's only 5'7" so having him taller than Arnie, who is 6 foot odd, kinda looks a bit off.

Oh and BTW I'm 5'7" and I'm normal. well normal-ish

Dear Lord, Sly is 5'7". If he shrank with age, he may well be 5'4". They could borrow a hobbit body from SS to make Rambo IV

Seriously, did I say we need a Rambo IV version. I do not care which body HT uses, just make it happen HT.
