Ah c'mon thats not a fair example, Drago was made of Alien substance found in outter space. Drago is an extreme example, they did that based on one Rocky IV image where they meet up in the centre ring. Bad figure.

yeah, but I KNOW he's only 5'7" so having him taller than Arnie, who is 6 foot odd, kinda looks a bit off.

Oh and BTW I'm 5'7" and I'm normal. well normal-ish

Seriously, did I say we need a Rambo IV version.

If Hot Toys goes back and does a Rambo DX, it's going to be a redo of the most popular and the best selling Rambo in their line. I don't think it's going to be Rambo IV

With Rambo I don't think that logic applies. The best selling Rambo is probably Rambo 3, which requires no upgrading really, and I think the whole line probably sold pretty close to each other, so there's no big thing to cash in on. With Rocky and Rambo, it's about new incarnations. I'm sure Hot Toys recognizes the absence of RAMBO in their line and will deliver it if they do another Rambo.

I bet Hot Toys can do a better likeness today of Stallone. If only Hot Toys would have released the Rocky IV figure now. That old likeness is blah. I would love to see another Rambo or Rocky, hopefully not soon my wallet needs to recover.

Hot Toys did make an improved Rocky, and other than Rambo 2, all the Rambo's have been really nice, FB 1 was just ok, but 3 and M65 were fantastic.

Much as I'd like to see Rambo 2 updated, I'd rather get 4 first, one of them all is better than missing one and having an update to one I already have.

I agree on that point. I have Rocky Italian Stallion version. The best Rambo IMO is M65 version.

I can say for sure that i would NOT be dissappointed if we got a Rambo 2 figure instead of a Rambo 4...as long as we get a Rambo 4 eventually,we need something else than that weak body that cracks open by just touching it.Ive had 3 and never bent the arms on the last one i have and about a month agoo i noticed a hole on his forearm,no idea how this started as i NEVER played with it.

I do welcome an update to Rambo 2, between the skin tone and the really poor head sculpt, and it's my favorite look for Rambo of all of them, but I'm also a fan of having every film represented in the lineup and unless HT said for sure a Rambo 4 would be coming if the next Rambo is anything but, I'd be dissappointed because to me, it'd be a sign we might not get Rambo 4. If HT is EVER going to do Rambo 4, it has to be the next figure or odds are we'll never get it.

The only Rambo NOT in my collection is II. I keep hesitating on pulling the trigger because of these problems.

I would be ok with a Dlx Rambo II.

Agree. Rambo II is the figure that got HT noticed, but it has some faults that keep it out of my collection. Rambo 4 figure is a MUST!!!

I really like the Rambo 2 figure though. It does not hold a candle to Rambo 3 or M65 version. But i actually like the color of the skin tone and having a non-sculpted bandanna is kick ass. Its just tooo bad his face looks like it was drawn on with a pencil crayon

I was planning on watching Keaton's Batman but I think Rambo blowing off body parts fits the bill tonight.

While we're discussing RAMBO, while I wait for HT to deliver a final battle Rambo in their line, I'm using my head from Sovereign Studio to make the "Boat Man" like this.

I've ordered all the parts off eBay, just waiting for them to arrive.

Nope, since it'll just be for the boat man look, standard true type with tissue padding wherever the layers of clothes may not show. With the T-shirt and button down shirt, it'll look pretty thick as is, plus they might be pretty tight when I get them.

I was lucky, I went on eBay one night, searched and found all the parts, boots, pants, button down shirt (which in Rambo style are not abundant, lots of business type shirts out there more than like his), just waiting, but most of it's from overseas and I've bought from this seller before, takes a little bit.

I'll show him off here once he's assembled though.

There's a great intensity in the eyes, when I look at it, makes me think of him on the boat dealing with the pirates, right before he shoots them all and after he gets pissed off "Who are you! Who are any of you! We're going back!"

And of course one of my favorite lines from that scene, "You're not changing anything." Just something about the look on his face and the genuine tone in his voice of disenchantment with the world. Stallone did a great job of portraying Rambo more jaded than ever.

I wasn't planning it, but with the head I got from Shawn having the red bandana, and I've said many times a Rambo 4 sculpt wasn't enough because you needed the right body to have his final battle look, but I thought, what the hell, I could make a boat man look, and still keep my fingers crossed that HT will do RAMBO 4 final battle.

Between my custom Boat Man and my Les repainted Rambo statue, I'll have a good representation of the film, even though the most crucial figure I want is missing.
