God, I thought there are updates on this thread. Not much activity for Rambo releases, the discussions are in the Expendables thread.
Here's to hoping Rambo 4 is just around the corner.

So, is the Rambo license still owned by Hot Toys?

Because if it's no longer owned by them, I don't mind DID or Enterbay taking a shot at a Rambo 4 if Hot Toys won't deliver!

DID releases stand-alone heads, so they can do a Rambo 4 head and I'll take care of the rest!

After how Barney Ross sold out, I think is a sure bet we will have a Stallone figure next year. Rambo or Rocky?...what version? those would be the questions.

HC doesn't seem to use multi media but it's a fine looking Rambo 4 sculpt.

It's an expensive piece, as it's in 1:4 scale.. Would love to have it, but shipping to the Philippines will jack up the price of this one. Maybe if some local retailer gets it, I will buy from them.

I am more a statue collector as I'm too lazy to pose and change clothes, weapons. haha. I did pick up Barney though. The Rambo 4 statue is nice--just wish like SSC that HC would use real cloth too. and maybe have switch out something.

Thing is HCG seems to outsource a lot. Their Rocky and Rambo statues were sculpted and solicited from an independent artist. If they were more heavily into the making of things, they'd probably explore mixed media like Sideshow, of course Sideshow might hav e exclusive rights to mixed media 1/4 scale pieces.

This is the best sculpture/statue Sly/Rambo likeness. I don't know why a Sly likeness at 1/4 scale is so hard. But heck, there's a lot of 1/6 Sly;s that are questionable as well.

Not sure about this cause Triad already made a 1/4 scale Mixed Media Heihachi and it will soon be followed by Jin Kazama..

I meant specifically with Rambo. We know that manufacturers sometimes get exclusive rights to certain products with licenses, Sideshow could have the exclusive rights to mixed media 1/4 scale Rambos. Not saying they do, and sounds like there is slight mixed media to the HCG Rambo, just saying, sometimes a company may not be able to do a certain type of product no matter how much they want to.
