wow, I'd forgotten how good that Rambo2 body actually looks.

....why does it look so much better than Enterbay's new GoD body??

I can honestly say I don't miss the Rambo II figure, imo it looks awful. Of course compared to todays standards, back then it was amazing. HT's sculpts and paint work was very plain, even the sculpts are rough. His eyes are HUGE too. :lol

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Eh cut em a little slack, he was a $75 figure!! But yea, Rambo III and M65 versions trump it hard.

I'd happily welcome an upgrade, but for now, as weak as it is, I'm just happy to have a figure to represent that movie, all of them except 4.

Crazy to think that the figure's already 5 years old, doesn't seem that long ago. It has nostalgic value for me too, he was the first high end 12 figure I ever received, before that was Hasbro Star Wars.

now that's a sentimental value no money can buy. :wink1:

I totally agree. Its not like it costed $160+ but still.

Don't get me wrong, I had 2 of them at one time. I'm just a VERY picky collector. If it ain't near perfect I don't want it anymore. Even Stallone related items.

Well that's what makes a place like this fun, everyone's got a different approach to this hobby, makes seeing collections interesting as well, everyone has pieces others envy and want as well as ones you just don't understand why they'd ever want them. I know people who own things from properties I absolutely love and just think are utterly ugly or worthless.

I can't really articulate my criteria for an acceptable Rambo piece, but as long as I like it, I get it or keep it. Hell, I'm still happy to have this guy.

Rambo 2 being my iconic look for the character though, I would love to see a remake to have a figure true to his appearance in the movie.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

I have the John J. Rambo MMS 21. It is actually pending right now in the sales thread. I still have it right now, but I know it is going and I am going to miss it.

I took a picture of the frayed bandana. Look how detailed this body is, and how real it looks.

I sold to get me a War Machine. I hope I do not regret it! I am in an IM phase right now.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

I was looking for a HT Rambo III, but now I think I will wait for the Enterbay version.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

if they make a Rambo IV will it come with two heads or will they make the headband a removeable accessory blue/red

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Wait so is enterbay making a 1/6 figure still yet or just statues?

So far, all Enterbay is doing is making a 1/4 scale posable Rambo 3 like their posable 1/4 scale T-800, that's it, nothing 1/6, nor Rambo 4.

So, we are left hoping for HT to do something, and I suppose there is still hope, HT has yet to act on their Stallone character poll, but it seems like something usually comes out of their polls.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

does HCG have exclusive rights to Rambo IV merchandise since they are the only ones making anything?
