Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

He was one of the last figures to come with those big no detailed hands. Swap em out for some modern ones.

As for the string, just loop it around.

A awesome figure.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Thanks Sean. I did notice the left-shoulder carrying in the movie. :)

I also noticed that the string wrapped around the Sleeping Bag is longer than what's shown on the box. How do you tie it so that the Sleeping Bag hangs upright & not dangling?

I wrap mine around his shoulder a couple times first.

I also rolled my bag to be less wide and closer to the movie.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

I came by a 1/6 military jacket that looked very close to an M65 and it was cheap so I gave it a shot. I love the M65 figure but the coat's always looked oversized compared to the film and I was willing to take a shot. I think it looks closer, just need to add a flag and US Army text over the breast pockets.

Great find on that jacket Sean. Yeah, it looks very similar to the original jacket esp. the color. The size looks fitter to the body as well. Most noticeable at the hemline. Just add those patches & your good to go. :wink1:

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Awesome find, Sean!!! It does look more similar, as it's not as "baggy" as the original HT one:

Do you know what brand it is, and/or what boxed set it came from? If you were able to come across multiple quantities, please let me know. :wave Thanks in advance!

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

I don't want to make fun of that figure. It seems depressed enough.
In one of the pics it is clearly trying to cut its own throat.

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Has anybody popped one of the Rambo figures onto a Wolverine body? Been looking for pics and haven't found any. :(

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

Still rockin in my collection and still waiting to close the gap with a Hot Toys Rambo 4.

darkinight how are the rubber bodies holding up?

On another note, I was watching a documentary about the making of the Expendibles and saw that Stallone had a few HT Rambo's in his office

That is my plan. The first First Blood Rambo and a Rambo II heads are off with Elvis and will be using a new muscle body on them and Rambo III.

They are holding up good, the way I have it pose they stay that way.

Does he own just figures of himself? I remember him in a picture looking at his Ross figure with a big smile on his face. Any links to that documentary?

Re: Official Hot Toys Rambo Line Thread

I see that your FB Rambo's hands faded as well.

My bodies have held up just fine. Just like the new muscle bodies and skin tone way more.

:rock good to hear that

Can you put the newer TT hand and pegs in the Rambo arm? I'm to lazy to check, wanted to know if you know off your head.
