The other nice thing about Han... no Jedi tunic!

Its great to see a figure in more modern gear. That alone sets Han apart from the others, and the few still yet to come. He's like the only figure in 10 that doesn't have a robe.

As usual your pictures both illuminate and amuse...

I like the "portrait" ones emphasizing the head sculpt...it does look really good. I also like the clothed "after' ones alot. So...with the pants packing...just a little around the ball-joints (where the leg joins the hip) was enough to achieve that excellent result?
And how are his leg joints? Hopefully not as loose as Fistos...

I am still disappointed about the appearance of the jacket. It does seem a little small, even after your work on it.

All n' all, your pics have made me really look forward to this figure. Han was always my favorite of the OT and I especially like the ESB/Bespin look...while it doesn't look like this one was knocked outta the park, it still looks pretty good....I'll see for myself next week....

WorGar, thanks for those nice pics. It looks like the futzing was well worth the effort. Han Solo has always been my favorite SW character. The ESB version is especially my favorite rendition of him, so that is probably why I've had such high expectations.

Thanks Jedibear! Yeah, just a cotton ball at each ball-joint will fill out the hips and keep them from pinching inward. The legs on mine were fine, not loose at all. In fact, he seems to hold a pose quite well.

No extra hands? Maybe it's just me but I think at this pricepoint Sideshow should include at least one extra pair of hands for every figure.

I just had another thought. Maybe the problems we are seeing in the jacket stem from the fact that we are used to seeing nothing but Jedi robes. Somebody should put a Jedi robe on Han to make us feel better.

Looks ok, but I'm still iffy. It's definatly gonna be the figure were I'm going to be apprehensive until I get it in hand and futz with everything myself. I only got it because it's Han, but he still kinda has a Mark Summers from Double Dare face going on, I'm still keeping my hopes up though.

Seeing these collector-taken pics, I'm relieved that circumstances forced me to cancel Han. It sounds as though this would've been a disappointment for me. The jacket doesn't fit well at all. The belt is tight. And the face sculpt is just as poor as I initially assessed.

It's a real shame because Bespin Han was a figure that I was looking forward to the most and was ecstatic about when first announced. Then I saw the pics on PPO day...

I must say though...the pants look good, the detailing on the blaster and belt is top-notch, and that mynock is frickin' huge. It'll probably go for a nice sum on eBay...high demand and I don't see very many people selling theirs.

Yeah, I'm holding out hope for a dif. Han one day from SS, but I gotta get one just in case. That's the big reason for keeping it, I'm not hot on it, but if we don't get another one , atleast I have it. I got it for a little cheaper than SS was selling it for, so I'm not feeling ripped off in anyway, I'm still being hopeful, but, I have a bad feeling about this....

Thanks for the pics Wor-Gar! Quick Q...what kind of cotton did you use on the pants, cotton balls or something? I've heard some people used toilet paper on Luke but I never wanted to try that since it would just disintegrate over time, espeacially with as much reposing as I do.

You mean the sculpt as poor as you feel for yourself. Because your assessment is only an opinion not fact. Just because you feel it is a poor sculpt doesn't make it so and the way your post reads it sounds as if everyone has to feel this way.

My dear Josh, he did say "as I initially assessed;" leave the man be. For what it is worth, I still think the head is too large, esp when viewed in total with the figure, but I suppose I will still wait to see mine in-hand.

I think Han looks great. My only regret (besides missing the ex. by 2 days because I had no idea about Sideshow) is that I won't see him until much later than the rest of you since I am having him shipped with Mace.

Seems like a lot of scuffles lately between members. Anyhow, Han will be here Friday and I can't wait. Love the pics so far!
