That one is just begging for a photo caption contest. :rotfl

This is for anyone with the figure in hand: Does the belt clasp in front like Luke or in back like everyone else?

Wow those are some freaky pics dude. Hopefully I can find a more...decent way of loosening the belt this week! He looks great though, I'm so excited to get mine!

It clasps in front at the buckle.

I knew that picture was going to get comments. :D

Now, being serious, looks like a solid technique there. How did that method even occur to you? It's impressive.

Thanks, Sith Lord, its one of those "inspired" ideas that just hit me when I was trying to think: how do you stretch out a vinyl belt when you don't have a miniature inflatable airbag. You'd be surprised the array of gerry-rigged ideas I use to alter these figures.

The strangest request yet, but here it is...

Leave it to me to ask! :lol

I know it looks hokey but it works. Next can size -- a regular soda can. :D

You can see the crease I added to the pants, and the double-flap on his shirt.
Thanks W-G. That actually helps a lot. Now I'll know what the hell I'm doing when I try it.

You should consider starting a thread with all those types of gerry-rigs listed and described. I'm sure a lot of us would benefit. Plus, I'm sure others would have ideas to contribute.

BTW, I don't know if anyone realizes this but Han's pants have little "socks" sewn onto the pant leg to hold the pants in place. This was a brilliant idea on Sideshows part and I'm glad they solved the problem with having to tuck the pants down into the boot.

The little socks are actually fishnet material...which may be a bit risque but they work. :D

So the question is: is this accurate -- did Han in fact wear fishnet socks?

:lol

Thats a good idea.

I'm sure there's an EU source out there dealing with that. :lol

Seriously, that sounds like an effective approach to the pants' design.

Luke's jumpsuit has built-in socks too. Hopefully the fishnet on Han's pants is strong enough when pushing his feet back into the boots.

Great pics Wor-Gar! I LOVE that Chewie.... and the can pic does need a good caption...

Han....leg's spread.... belt around his knees.... a can of Pam cooking oil..... sickening possibilities.....

Darth Vader: "We have "ways" of making you talk." :rotfl

He does have a rather "surrendered" pose ...

How about that whole Dark Side and un-natural business.

Wor-Gar, excuse me for being so dumb...I guess everyone else so far recognizes your Chewie. Where did you get that?? Who made it??

A guy named Mark out of Chicago. He made a couple last year (before SS made its SW announcement), another of which went to Hurricane. I've posted this Chewbacca before with a "tutorial" on how to get the hair just right but I guess it has more merit now with Han. Mark has since stopped doing customs; I always tell him he should get making them again, especially now. He frequents lurking on these boards and I emailed earlier to let him know about this post.

It's great work he did WG.... I remember you showing the pics a couple of months ago. His Chewie is fantastic. I'd be soooo excited if he ever took it up again.

I can only imagine how hard it must be to make these guys.... :monkey2
