Well I finally got my Hot Toys Superman this week, unfortunately my DC Direct Superman Returns figure decided to poke fun at him for being smaller...not a very bright idea...

Needless to say Hot Toys Superman was not amused.

I finally figured out why I hate the head so much. It's way too feminine.

I'm just curious, and please don't take this the wrong way, but is there anything you actually do like?

I'm sorry but that DCD Superman doesn't pail as much as I thought it would next to the Hot Toys one, which is the version I own btw, but it doesn't look that bad at all. But then again I do love my DCD 13"ers! I only collect the comicbook inspired ones. They are my favourite collection I have. Can't wait for Manhunter next week!

Yeah, this is totally keeping me from buying the DCD Bats figure. Superman I can buy being supertall, but Batman not so much.

(Sure, you can say "they look good displayed together on their own shelf" all ya want, but I like all my "1:6" figures to play well together nicely.)

Trust me, when you see 'em side by side in person, there's a HUGE difference. The DCD Superman's boots are horrible, they're not even the same color as the other red on his costume, wich they also happend to miss on. To each his own, but to me there really is no comparing the too.

Seriously if anyone is interested in the DCD version shoot me a pm.

This is the regular Supes head.... much better IMO.... at least after a touch up.
